Yes dear brother, but do we have right to question someone's life decisions or work? Some of the most difficult work I have seen done in Pakistan is by women. For example in the villages, life for both men and women is harsh and structured, but you see it gives them happiness and they can enjoy the small blessings in their lives more than many of us city people who take those for granted.

I don't think happiness is only related to work, but a multitude of factors. When I was young and school age, I also did alot of hard work too, but those are some of my favorite memories. It helped me make me who I am today.

In sha Allah, our three sisters will become successful and one day own many businesses. We can keep them in dua, and that is the best way.

I understand your misgivings, but we are a whole society, from the lowest stratum to the highest, representing different professions and lifestyles. There is no shame in even gathering recycling materials, cleaning streets, gutters, or doing the most menial work.

Allah swt does not judge us on those things, but on our faith. I pray that all Pakistanis' standard of living goes up.

Ameen to give them all the prosperity. I also agree but r the farm women having a happy life? Should we promote running rickshaw as a good thing or should we promote sher sisters the 5 css qualified sister as breaking sterotype?

Again look T with the prisim of your own sister and daughter. Would u set these three sisters as role model or the sher sister ?

I give even janitors and low level staff respect which is afforded to every human being. Circumstances push people to make these choices, we should be supportive.

If they are hardworking and providing for their homes, yes that should be admired by everyone.

If some of our society views this as contemptible, then we need to fix the mindset of our people, not of women who desire to work.

Dear all, a lot of negative comments on my remarks so i am repkying to all in a single post. We need not to see this from point of view of a single person but from point of view of society as a whole. There is no disagreement that earning your bread honestly is one of the most noble thing but would u want your own kids daughter or sister to drive rickshaw? Dont we know that in such a profession she might get into contact with good as well as bad people.

For women best professions are the one where she get a relatively protective environment

Every society has people of all walks from rich to poor. Everyone's individual circumstances are unique and we simply can't ignore that.

If you have watched the video, let me ask you a question on 'respectable': Is washing someone else's toilets on daily basis (that she was doing as a maid) more respectable than driving your own rickshaw?

Brother u r not getting the point I am trying to make. It's not about her as an individual or there is not a questionabout the praise she deserve for the hard work along with the massi washing washrooms. My question is simple is this something which we want to set as an example for our sisters and daughters?

U r looking at the one end of the picture where these girls r trying to earn bread by hard work but I am looking at the other side of the picture which highlights the failure of our economic system which should provide them a more secured and honourable job in consistent with our religion and culture and so should be with our massi and those women who work on the farms.

Ideal just does not exist anywhere in the world and every following day/time is going to be only tougher than previous (Hadith).

If we were to set examples (and that would only be by implementing the Deen fully), we wouldn't have maids in our houses (to stop all na-mehram interactions) and do everything ourselves or completely change the structures and operations in Pakistani houses to be in full compliance with Deen. We know all too well what's happening around us.

If we don't implement the Deen fully, there will always be major problems. Poverty breeds exploitation leading to a diseased society. No easy fixes.

High end jobs require education and practical skills trainings. Someone of this lady's age should be getting state pension/benefits yet she has to work to make ends meet. Rickshaw driving is better than cleaning other's toilets and houses, and at her age she has no restriction of hijab in public either.

Who knows they will end up providing jobs to high skilled labor when they take their business to the next step by introducing self autonomous E Rickshaw Pods.

Aren't you like from Karachi where every multi storey building has a high skilled labor languishing in frustration and lack of opportunities?
