Don't get orgasm for some fake news. I don't think we are looking for advanced versions of F16 falcons for our army nor are we in talks with Lockheed Martin for F16's as part of make in India initiative.

Lockheed Martin is involved in C130J aerostructures in collaboration with Tata as part of make in India initiative.

1. 30+ years of hands on experience and counting..

2. know the plane inside out

3. understand how it behaves and handles at different flight regimes, radar/ ew and weapon functionality and the list goes on.

If indians went for the vipers, no matter which version, the PAF would be jubilant..

Block 60 vipers have AESA, plus IRST.. f16s in PAF have mechanically steered Radars.. Plus if LM offeres f16V, then some of the heads in IAF establishment might turn..
