Why don't AFGHAN Govt just let us build the gate? No one want this border escalation other then Aghan govt itself to keep the durrand line issue alive and create anti Pakistan sentiments in the Afghanistan.

US state dept. will be giving a statement soon to the world media, asking Pakistan to cooperate with Afghan government and give back their area...tbh, if Pakistan Army wants, the whole Afghanistan is there for the taking. Afghan Taliban will also assist the army in getting rid of Indian led ANA.

Some sort of buffer zone is required between Pakistan and Afghanistan along with a fenced border. This will minimize the cross-border free movement of terrorists such as Fazllulha and co. and both countries will benefit from that.

That's true but how do both nations move on from this? america/india are trying to use Afghanistan to scuttle CPEC and Pakistan cannot let that happen. Equally, Most Pakistanis don't want Pakistan to fight a war against Afghanistan as we don't hate the Afghan nation or people but we need to protect Pakistan's future.
