that would be good, there is a growing alchoholism in some parts of India that needs to be addressed. Mind you a lot of that is amongst middle aged men!

I once got a police lathi on my shin also in college days.

Nop, it has been reversed when CPIM came to power this year. For a state like Kerala where the major part of its revenue comes from tourism, banning liquor was the last thing to do.
