Breaking News Versions on Oil Discovery within week

A couple of sentences in English to summarize the story would suffice...
This is a bad translation by google but you'll get the idea..

Indentant told the Urdu that the government has announced the announcement after the corresponding company's analysis report has arrived, which is beyond understanding.

The federal government shared this project with a joint venture of Pakistan Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), Italy's ENI, US Company Office of Mobile and Pakistan Petroleum Ltd. in January this year in the sea at Kakra near Karachi Sea. The excavation was started.

Italy's ENI company was digging with the help of a Confirm company. Sources linked to the same project said on condition of not showing the Indentant Urdu government that the government has hurriedly announced its reserves.

He said that the target of the excavation was achieved, and the company has told its board so much that the excavation has been completed and the report will be prepared later.

When asked whether the company has shared this report with the government of Pakistan not receiving oil reserves? So, he said that according to his information, no such shares were shared with the government, because the report has to be prepared after sampling and the report has to be prepared.

He said: 'Some months require months for preparation of this report, but sometimes it can become a few weeks. As far as this report is concerned, it is still coming.

"This report will reveal whether there is hydrocarbons on this site, but according to them, it may be possible that some villages should be found after camphney testing and they should dig more."

When asked if a hydrocarbon is found then what will happen after that? So he said that if hydrocarbon reserves are found, then the fattyelty will be seen how much will it cost to extract and clean it and then it will be decided whether or not to start working on the production. .

What are the digestive steps?

The initial report is prepared first and whether it is suitable for excavation or how much it costs (ie, 50 to 100 million), which is started on digging. .

After reaching the required quota, the contractor or company crafts well by sending samples (cuts) for the analysis and testing so that it can be seen whether or not hydrocarbon exists.

If the hydrocarbon assets are found in the samples, it is possible to say that there was a hydrocarbon at this point of time. After a positive test, the quantity of pressure and potential oil reserves are detected.

After this phase, a censor is placed inside the same place so that the detailed record can be collected and this is the same phase, which can be found in the success of success or failure.

If the details of the censor help determine if hydrocarbon is present, then some hydrocarbon is extracted and dispatched for re-testing, and this drilling is the last step to complete.

Regarding excavations in crab, sources told Indore that the drilling phase has been completed and at this stage it can not be said that the project has failed and oil reserves have not been received.

What does the government say?

Ahmad Hayat Lak, Officer of Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) and Legal Wing Officer told Indore, "It is true that the analysis report of this drilling has come to an end, but during the excavation companies collect a lot of data, Which can be estimated whether hydrocarbon exists or not. '

However, he must have said that it's not exactly that these companies will go away. We have to do more work now and we want to have more excavation and more in those places. '

He further said that after the company's report, it will be further seen that the future situation will be done. However, he said that if oil reserves are found, then it will be seen later that how commercial it is. 'We want to dig more and discover more, but the proportion of drilling success throughout the world is such that only one of the 10 wells is successful.'

How much does it cost to spend on excavation?

In this context, Hayat Luck said that more than $ 100 million was spent on four companies. He said that 60 million dollars of Pakistani companies and $ 40 million were spent on this project.

Regarding all this, Indentant Urdu tried to contact Federal Minister for Petroleum Umar Ayub Khan but he did not pick up the phone.

However, according to a press release issued by the ministry, after 140 depth of digestion of 5492 meters on the Kakrabha river, more than 140 meters were excavated but due to high proportion of water, there was no need for hydrocarbons to be stored.

According to press releases, the proportion of water in the reservoir reserves is high.

The announcement further added that more 55 meters will be excavated and then the wells will be closed on which the drilling companies are supporters.

The Final Report Was Not Prepared And The News Has Been Prematurely Given That There Is No Oil

just a joke, its dry well...just hope more wells are dug next year

Ok Here Is How Deep Sea Exploration Works

Indus-G Block:
Without making this into an “introduction” to ‘Offshore drilling 101’, let me do this in a very VERY simple way (one we normally take when explaining offshore drilling to “high school” interns who come for a ‘day visit’
1/n
So here goes… in the most simplest terms.. offshore drilling has some distinct phases before the decision on extraction can be made..
..
(1) initial formation reports (seismic etc)
(2) drilling process
(3) analysis/testing/assessment
..
2/n
If preliminary reports (usually seismic) of the bed are favourable & can justify expensive (50 to 100 million), exhausting & considerably accident-prone process of drilling, a drilling contractor & rig in engaged to drill to the “initial desired depth”
3/n
After the initial drill depth is reached, the well is usually capped, drilling contractors handover cuttings (usually cores) for analysis & tests (like UV testing etc) to detect hydrocarbon traces which allows the exploration company to conduct basic appraisal
4/n
If “POSITIVE” results are found at this stage the ONLY thing that can be said for CERTAIN is that hydrocarbons were present AT SOME TIME at this depth..THATS IT..a positive result would then lead to stem-testing to determine things like pressure & possible production capacity
5/n
Provided stem-testing is favourable, THEN sensors are lowered to create a detailed record of the strata & consider the viability of the formation.. THIS is the stage when the well is considered to be a success or a failure
6/n
If declared a success, then a full production test in inducted and some hydrocarbon is collected or flared and the well is capped again. The drilling phase is NOW complete & the drill is removed & preparations made to bring in extraction equipment
7/n
Kekra-1 has ONLY reached the desired drill depth (16th May 2019).. (i.e Twt: 3/n) .. the reports have been sent to both ENi & Exxon and the cores will now be analysed (Twt: 4/n) .. thats ALL that has happened… no discovery, no declaration, no positive/negative result YET..
8/n
Even now the reports could be negative, or positive but later the stem-test declare the well not ‘financially viable’, or show a different location to be more suitable or a few dozen other complications that would lead to the abandonment of ‘this particular well’
9/n
So.. all the morbid celebrations of failure & declarations of success can wait for a while.. you might still get the opportunity to celebrate the failure or success.. but a little patience would be nice.. for now

Long Story Short
1.A Company Like Exxon Mobile Or ENI Would Not Just Throw Money At Random.Satellite Images Would Have Ascertained The Presence Of Rich Hydrocarbons

2.Right Now Only The Drilling Is Complete The Drill Seam Testing Is Yet To Be Done Which Is Going To Take A Week and Then Sensors Will Be Lowered Only Then A Final Report Can Be Made. The Point Is That The News Circulating Last Night Is False and The Product Of Some Reporter Pretending To Be An Expert In A Field He Is Not We Still Have To Wait For At Least A Week For The DST Results To Come and Then Move On

No need to get our hopes up again. lets just wait and watch

No Need To Be Hopeless As Well

Planned and strategized flow of events to keep things under cover for the time being?

so deliberate? why talk about political and economic stability if the government itself is not serious about it in terms of policy making

No it's official there is no oil/gas in the well. The company that did the initial assessment on the reserves said so:

https://www.rystadenergy.com/newsevents/news/press-releases/No-oil-in-high-impact-well/
"One of the world’s most closely watched exploration wells has come up dry. In a major setback for Pakistan’s oil ambitions, the much-awaited Kekra-01 well in the Arabian Sea turned out to be a duster.

“The dry well comes as a major blow not only for the country, but also for the companies involved. The drilling campaign initially had a budget of between $75 million and $80 million, which later grew to approximately $100 million due to technical complications,” says Palzor Shenga, Senior Analyst at Rystad Energy, after official sources confirmed the drilling results over the weekend."

Best not to live on false hope.

Here Is What The Urdu Version of British Daily The Independent Had To Say

You're more than welcome to wait however it was Rystad's consultant work that convinced the oil companies to do the drilling. Everyone knows that not all drilling will result in good reserves. I've followed the story religiously for months I'm willing to wait for official report too but hopes are extremely low now.
