Now being denied by Secretary of Defense.
Looks like infighting is going on, best to wait to see what the final answer is

Possibility, but it has been confirmed by Washington Post, Reuter’s, and AP who all cite US and Iraqi officials that confirm its real.
Always a possibility trump changes his mind.
It’s been a hour so far the news has broke. So we shall see.
Maybe he is facing pressure for his re-election, but strategically, it is not good for the long term interests of the petro-dollar.
Only reason trump did the assassination was fear of looking weak and having a Behngazi on his hands. So he picked the most extreme option due to his impulse behavior.
However, even if Iran does nothing. Iraqi milita will attack US soldiers throughout the Iraq and if body bags start rolling in that will make his assassination look pointless.
Trump really thought he could just assassinate, embarrass Iraq, then bully both countries into doing nothing. He thinks this is a real estate transaction where he is the big shot billionaire with all the power.
He doesn’t understand in geopolitics even the small fries can kick you in the balls.
The strategy of the de-dollarization will be fully fulfilled, and Trump will only accelerate this process.
At least with Iran Trump has been a man of his word. I would doubt he would authorize a withdrawal without adequate compensation from Iraq.looks Fake
So much for the bellicose threats of “we won’t leave” and “you must pay”... Trump has made a complete fool of himself. At least he’s good at something.
