SpaceX’s SN10 Starship prototype has made a largely successful test flight, soaring some 10km high and performing a shaky upright landing, though a small fire was seen upon touchdown before the craft erupted in a fiery explosion.

Yes, but it successfully flipped and landed with a soft touchdown. SpaceX had full control throughout flight. That’s huge progress for SpaceX. On to SN11!

Early consensus over on Nasaspaceflight is one of the landing gears failed, thereby getting crushed, damaging methane feed lines, causing the leak and explosion.

Well that's good, they got all the hardest parts perfectly executed. This will probably be something they will be able to solve quite easily. I'd consider it a success still overall.

It’s clearly a huge success. They proved the 3 engine relight and soft landing is possible. They just have to continue tweaking the tail end of landing. The hard parts look to be solved.

Elan Musk is the real life Tony Stark.

It's actually the other way around. The Tony Stark in the original Marvel comics is actually very dull personality wise. Jon Favreau explicitly based the one we are all familiar with on Elon Musk. He even got a cameo in Iron Man 2.
