Like I said Ruthless Merit, however, I think he should have been offered a ticket..

he was asking 3 tickets from Lahore. he should have been given atleast one, he was worst in our ranks according to PTI standards but still better than any haramkhor nooner.

he won elections by doing whatever he did, he should therefore, get one ticket...

why did lahori PTians choose a land mafia as their leader in intra party is beyond me

GREAT DECISION, WORLD CLASS DECISION.

I hated him and hoped that imran khans strict merit will check these mafia,s out and only give tickets full on merit. Well done. Hand,s off. This is his merit.

Now even nooners will have to agree that this is right and this is strict merit. Can they honestly say that he wouldnt have gotten a ticket in PML N...

@ RESPECT!!!!

The Captain living up to his word? Aleem Khan denied PTI ticket | Pakistan Today | Latest news | Breaking news | Pakistan News | World news | Business | Sport and Multimedia

As Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) gears up to announce the fate of its candidates from Lahore, bad news has emerged from the party’s parliamentary board for former provincial minister Aleem Khan, once the biggest financer for PTI, Pakistan Today has learnt.

According to details, Aleem Khan had a heated argument with party chairman Imran Khan after he was denied party tickets for NA-126 and two provincial seats.

When contacted, Aleem Khan declined to comment.

However, sources revealed that Aleem Khan had been embroiled in controversy when PTI leaders accused him of rigging the party’s intra-party elections.

If Aleem Khan is not awarded the ticket, he may quit the party and contest as an independent candidate. So far, Sardar Assef Ahmad and Inamullah Niazi have quit the PTI over differences with the party leadership over election tickets.

PTI chief Imran Khan has withdrawn his candidacy papers from NA-126. PTI senior leader Shafqat Mahmood now stands a stronger chance of getting ticket from this constituency.

Race to the polls: PTI announces list of candidates from Lahore – The Express Tribune

LAHORE:
The Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) has issued its list of candidates for the National Assembly from Lahore. Several prominent workers including former MPA Abdul Rasheed Bhatti, who is also the PTI Lahore general secretary, have been refused tickets.
The PTI candidates from Lahore, for the National Assembly, include Hamid Zaman (NA-118), Mohammad Madni (NA-119), Dr Yasmeen Rashid (NA-120), Barrister Hammad Azhar (NA-121), Imran Khan (NA-122), Mehmoodur Rasheed (NA-126) and Abdul Aleem Khan (NA-127).
The CPB headed by Imran Khan had denied a party ticket to Bhatti from the PP-161 constituency over allegations of rigging in the intra-party elections, a senior CPB member requesting anonymity told The Express Tribune. The CPB is also expected to reject the latest list of nominations for women for seats reserved in the national and provincial assemblies. Imran Khan was reportedly annoyed by the nomination of some women who, he felt, had not worked for the party.
The PTI Women’s Wing issued a press statement on Tuesday alleging that several deserving women had been ignored in the nominations for reserved seats to the Punjab Assembly. The press statement alleged that Kalsoom Usman, a daughter of former PTI Lahore president Mehmoodur Rasheed, Sara Naseem, Shaheena Asad, Farzana Bhatti and Mrs Farrukh Moon had been nominated because they were related to men in the party. Saloni Bukhari and Sadiya Sohail had also not campaigned for the party, the statement said. The Women’s Wing demanded selection on merit, not nepotism.
The CPB had earlier rejected two lists of women nominated to the national and Punjab assemblies. PTI Punjab president Ejaz Chaudhry had presented a list of 39 women for seats reserved in the National Assembly and PTI Women’s Wing president Munaza Hassan had forwarded a list of 64 women for seats in the Punjab Assembly.
The CPB member said these lists would be revised over complaints by some women workers who felt they had been ignored.
A third list for seats reserved for women in the national and Punjab assemblies would now be made ‘on merit’, he said.
The CPB had previously rejected tickets to Asef Ahmed Ali, Inamullah Niazi and the Leghari brothers.
