তার আগে আমার কিছু কথা বলে নিচ্ছিঃ আমি সাতক্ষীরার মেয়ে। আমার বাবা ওখানে একটি পোষ্ট অফিসের পোষ্ট মাস্টারের কাজ করেন। আগে গ্রামের স্কুলে পড়াতেন। আমরা দুই বোন, দুই ভাই। আমিই বড় ওদের মধ্যে। ইন্টার মিডিয়েট পড়বার পর আমার বাবা খুব শখ করে আমায় ঢাকা ভর্তি করিয়ে দিতে আমার এক মামকে অনুরোধ করেন এবং মামা মিরপুর বাংলা কলেজে ভর্তি করিয়ে দেন।। আমার ফেইসবুক অ্যাকাউন্ট একটি ছিলো কেবল মাত্র ছবি আপলোড করবার জন্য। এই আইডি খুব নতুন করে তৈরি করেছি। কিভাবে বাংলা লিখতে হয় সেটিও শিখেছি। আমার এই আইডি নকল কিন্তু আমি মানুষটি নকল নl l

যাইহোকl এখন আসল কথায় আসি। আপনি নিশ্চই শুনেছেন কিছুদিন আগে সাতক্ষীরার ঘটে যাওয়া ভয়ংকর সব ঘটনা। আমি তখন বেড়াতে গিয়েছি ঢাকা থেকে ওখানে। আমরা ঘুনাক্ষরেও বুঝতে পারিনি কি ঘটতে যাচ্ছে আমাদের জীবনে! আমাদের এলাকা জামাত অধ্যুষিত। কিন্তু আমার বাবা বা কেউই আমরা জীবনে রাজনিতির সাথে জড়িত ছিলাম নাl কোনদিনও না। তবে মিথ্যে বলবনা, আমার বাবা জামাতকে ভোট দিয়েছেন এবং এরশাদ সাহেবকেও ভোট দিয়েছিলেন আগে। বাবা কিন্তু জানেননা জামাতের নেতা কারা, এরশাদ যে স্বৈরাচারী উপাধি পেয়েছে এইসব। বাবা স্বল্প শিক্ষিত মানুষ ছিলেন যদিও প্রাইমারি স্কুলের টিচার ছিলেন। আমরা আসলে ওসব নিয়ে কোনদিন আলোচনাই করিনি। নিজেদের সংসারের কলহ, আনন্দ এসব নিয়েই ব্যাস্ত থাকতাম।

হঠাত করেই আমাদের পাশের বাড়ির চাচা এসে আব্বাকে বলছিলেন, আর্মি আসছে জামাতিদের ধরতে। আব্বা তেমন কোন গুরুত্ব না দিয়ে আলোচনা করতে লাগ্লেন ওই চাচার সাথে। এর কিছুক্ষন পরেই শুনতে পেলাম গুলির শব্দ, চেচামেচি, আল্লাহু আকবর, গাড়ির ইঞ্জিনের শব্দ, মহিলাদের কান্না, কেমন যেন একটা অবস্থা! আমরা প্রথমে ভেবেছি কোথাও ডাকাত পরেছে কিংবা আগুন লেগেছে। চাচা আর আব্বার সাথে আমার ১২ বছরের ভাইটিও এক্সাইটেড হয়ে গিয়ে দৌড়ে উঠান ছেড়ে বাইরে বেড়িয়ে গেল। কিন্তু আমাদের কার্নিশ থেকে দেখা যাচ্ছে প্রচুর মানুষ জন এদিক সেদিক পালাচ্ছে। আমরা মেয়েরা ভয়ে দরজা লাগিয়ে দিলাম। তখনও জানিনা ব্যাপারটি কি। সাথে সাথেই দরজায় টোকা পড়তে লাগলো, না খোলাতে এবার ধাম ধাম করে বারি শুরু হল! আমি আর আমার সন্তান সম্ভবা ছোট খালা খাটের নিচে ঢুকে গেলাম। আল্লাহ তায়ালা মনে হয় মেয়েদের সিক্সথ সেন্স অনেক স্ট্রং করে পাঠান। আমার ৫ বছরের খালাতো ভাই ভয় পেয়ে কাঁদতে শুরু করল। আম্মা ওকে ধরে দাঁড়িয়ে আছেন, কিংকর্তব্যবিমুঢ় অবস্থায়। আমাদের কাঠের দরজা ভাঙতে খুব বেশি বেগ পেতে হয়নি ওদের।

আমি চোখ বন্ধ করেছিলাম না কি হয়েছিলো তা আর আমার মনে নেই। শুধু ভাংচুরের শব্দ, কান্না, আর আমার মায়ের কণ্ঠ ভেসে আসছিলো, বাবারে পায়ে ধরি , বাবা পায়ে ধরি, বাবা আমরা নিরীহ, এইসব কথার আর্তনাদ। খালাতো ভাইটাকে ধাক্কা মেরে দেয়ালে ঠেলে দেয়ার পর আর কোন সাড়া শব্দ নেই ওর। একজনের কণ্ঠ শুনলাম, ধুর ব্যাডা কি করস? দশ বারোজন লোক কারও গায়েই ইউনিফর্ম ছিলোনা। ওরা খাটের তোষক উল্টে ফেলে দেয়। খালা আর আমি ভয়ে চিৎকার করে উঠি। ওরা এবার খাটের নিচে উঁকি দিয়ে দেখে আমরা! খালাটা ইতিমধ্যে অজ্ঞ্যান হয়ে পড়ে আছেন। আমাকে ওরা টেনে বের করে আমার কামিজ ধরে। আমি বলি, প্লিজ ভাইয়া। আপনারা আমার ধর্মের ভাই লাগেন, ভাইয়া প্লিজ। একজন বলে, "এল্লা পিলিজ *দাইতাসে। খা** মা** বান্ধ।" এই কথা বলেই চড় লাগিয়ে দেয়, আমার মা দৌড়ে আসেন, তাকে চুলের মুঠি ধরে চড় থাপ্পড় দেয়া হয়। বাজে গালি দেয়া হয়। আমি ওদের চড় খেয়ে দরজার কাছে ছিটকে পড়ি। সাথে সাথেই এক দৌড় দিয়ে বাইরে চলে আসি। কে আমার পেছনে আসছে নাকি আমি কোথায় যাচ্ছি তা বুঝতে পারিনি, কেবল একটা কথাই মনে ছিল, দৌড়াতে হবে। আমি একটা গয়াল ঘরের পেছনে আশ্রয় নেই। চার ঘণ্টা আমি ওখানেই ছিলাম। পড়ে আস্তে আস্তে বের হয়ে আসি সব কিছু ঠান্ডা হয়ে এলে। আমাদের বাড়ি আমি চিনতে পারছিলামনা। কাঠের স্তূপ হয়ে পড়ে আছে। মহিলারা বিলাপ করে কাঁদছে। বাবা তখনও বাসায় ফেরেনি। আমার মাকে জড়ো করে অনেক মহিলারা দাঁড়ানো। মা নিথর বসে আছেন খালার লাশের সামনে। রক্তে খালার শাড়ী ভিজে চুপচুপা। একটা বাড়িতেও কোন পুরুষ ছিলোনা, কেউ ডাক্তারের কাছে নিয়ে যায়নি খালাকে, সবার বাড়িই ভেঙ্গে ফেলা হয়েছে, লুটপাট করে নিয়ে গিয়েছে সব কিছু। সব কিছু। অন্তত পক্ষে ৯ জন মেয়ে ধর্ষিত হয়েছে। এর মধ্যে ময়মনসিংহ থেকে আসা একটি কাজের মেয়ে সহ একি পরিবারের তিনজন আছে এবং তারা ধর্ষিত হয়েছে পুলিশ দ্বারা। আমাদের বাসায় যারা এসেছিলো তারা পুলিশ ছিলোনা। খাটো ও বখাটে ধাঁচের ছিল। ৬ জন মারা গিয়েছে। অসংখ্য যুবক ছেলের হাত নেই, পা নেই এরকম অবস্থা। গুলি খেয়ে, চাপাতির কোপ খেয়ে অনেকে জখম। আর বাড়িগুলো ভাঙ্গাচোরা স্তুপ। চার পাঁচটা গরুর গায়েও গুলি লেগেছে। একটা মৃত্যু পুরি। আমরা সাতদিন পর্যন্ত সম্পূর্ণ খলা আকাশের নিচে রাত কাটিয়েছি। আপনি কি জানেন, একপরিবারের এক মেয়ের জামাইকে সামান্য আঘাত করে গর্তে ফেলে দিয়ে জীবন্ত মাটি চাপা দিয়ে দেয়া হয়েছে?

বিশ্বাস হয় আপু ? হয়না তাইনা? হবে কেন? কোন মিডিয়া যায়নি কাভার করতে, কিছু ছেলেপেলে গিয়েছিলো মোবাইল দিয়ে ভিডিও করতে, সবাই মিলে তাড়িয়ে দিয়েছে ওদের। রাগে, ক্ষোভে। সাতক্ষীরা অঞ্চলটি কি দেশের বাইরে? আমরা কি মানুষ না আপু ?? আমাদের কি ব্যাথা লাগেনা গুলি খেলে? ধর্ষিত হলে? আমরা কি করেছি যে আমাদের এরকম ভাবে নিঃশেষ করে দেয়া হল? আমার বাবা এখন বাড়ি ফিরেছেন শুনেছি, কিন্তু কথা বলতে পারেননা।

আমি ঢাকায় এসে অনেক সংবাদ পত্রের অফিসে গিয়েছি, কেউ আমার কথা শুনতে চায়নি। যে দু একজন শুনেছে তারা বলেছে, ধৈর্য ধর। ব্যাস, এটুকুই। আমরা মানুষ না তাইনা আপু ? আমার মা ভাবছেন, আমার আর বিয়ে দেয়া যাবেনা। লোকে কি বলবে? আমরা কার কি ক্ষতি করেছি ভাই? আমাদেরও ক্ষুধা লাগে, ব্যাথা লাগে যেমন আপনাদের লাগে। আমরাও মানুষ। হয়ত গরীব, দামি সাবান, দামি প্রসাধনী ব্যাবহার করতে পারিনা। পারফিউম দিয়ে গায়ের গন্ধ ঢেকে রাখতে পারিনা, শুদ্ধ ভাবে কথা বলতে পারিনা কিন্তু তারপরও আমাদের জীবন আছে, আমার আর এখন কান্না আসেনা। কিন্তু এত অসহায় লাগে। আশে পাশের সব মানুষকে ভয়ংকর মনে হয়।

আপনার কাছে বলার একটাই উদ্দেশ্য , আপনি কি আমার এই কথাগুলো একবার আপনার বন্ধুদের জানাবেন? আপনি বিদেশ থাকেন বলে আপনাকে জানালাম যেন আপনার ক্ষতি না হয় l আমাদের সন্মান আর আমাদের জীবন আর ফিরে পাবনা জানি কিন্তু অন্তত পক্ষে কিছু মানুষ জানুক , বিংশ শতাব্দীতে কি বর্বর ঘটনা ঘটে গিয়েছে আমাদেরি দেশে।"

I would tend to disagree as the government objections about the documents were not particular pertinent which suggests they had something to hide.

They definitely have lots of things to hide but I don't see any concrete logic to officially seek help from india sending letter which can easily be achieved without.

That is the explanation that the government should have used but did not. They went on a completely different track which made no sense. Suggests that a request was made and someone got careless or over-confident.

Not quite sure about that,he might lead BNP at some extent. But is he the right person to lead Bangladesh? That's the big question.
