Is that another way of saying Modi will be in power for next 12 years? And as I said there is nothing new here. If you read my previous posts I had said that there was going to much fanfare, big talk, hugs and all that. This has happened before. The proof of the pudding is whether we see the actualization of even 50% of the bombast. Time will tell.

The reason is simple. Israel and America are as bitterly opposed to Iran as they were before the nuclear deal. Nothing substantive has changed in Tel Aviv and Washington. Both wish destruction of the Iranian regime presently personified by President Hassan Rouhani.

India is fast moving into tight strategic relationship with America and the Jewish lobby in US is almost indivisible from the India lobby. Both are Siamese twins. That same lobby bangs on for Indian interests in Washington. That same lobby whips anti Iran sentiments in Washington. I just cannot see that Yehud/Hindoo or as you people love to call it "Yindoo" lobby sitting by in Washington/Tel Aviv and having Iran benefit to any degree from Isreal's friend in Asia - India.

I maybe wrong. I may have over estimated the power of the Jewish lobby in Washington and Netanayu's leverage over his mate Modi. Let us see anyway if this projects go anywhere or are they going to be aborted by Tel Aviv.

Your concern as i get is how much of it will actually fruitify of what is signed and promised.
But you answered it already that only time will tell, so i am not going to contest further on that.

But i can tell you one thing, for india, iran is the only answer. But for iran there can be other alternatives as well if not india, it will be china, japan, singapore etc to build chahbahar. So india is more in need of this port that iran, so i dont think india will afford to axe its own foot here. India have no option but to play a serious game in that region or else forget the access to CAR for a very long time, which i think india cannot afford.

Reagarding israel and USA, i dont think india will care much as neither of them have answers to indian needs. Both cannot provide access to afghanistan, CAR, russia, and europe. Both cannot economically export oil to india. Both provide no option for further pipeline to india. So unless both can provide answers to indian need, i dont think india will pay attention to their rants. This is realpolitics, we are in iran to cater our needs, not for charity.

We will hear on that within 2-3 months after signing the Rafale deal. Additional Scorpenes and further French submarines on the P-75i and Mistral is a bargaining coin to keep the price of Rafale low.



I'm not from IIPM, so I don't count my chickens before they hatch. I mentioned about our indigenous SSNs back in 2011/12, common people came to know about that project just a year ago.

The first hull should be ready by 2018, and sea trials by 2020/21.

They don't have answers but Israel and America have far more influence over India than poor Iran has. As demonstrated last year by Hillary Clinton's visit when Washington/Tel Aviv want - India will drop Iran like dirty banana.

Anyway as you say let us see where we are in 2017 May. We can revisit this thread. This is going to be another huge fart. Only China has the temerity to oppose US policy. In fact as I have shown before it was the China factor that pushed US to the nuclear agreement or else they were heading toward bombing of Tehran at the behest of Modi's mate Netanayu.

I have a feeling that after the AAD and PAD matures enough, which will probably take another 4-5 years. We might see something analogous to Aegis Defense systems, deployed in a 8-10k tonnes Cruiser with VLS.

Reading that article its evident that she was already in election speech mode, boosting what she did, desperate to take credit.
And what is she boosting actually, that she convinced india to scale down its oil imports from iran. Thats all. Fine, lets give that credit to her for a while.
What now, our imports are back to normal and now we are ready to take out relation with iran at new heights.

Regarding your another article of jewish lobby, its only stating that modi should use this visit to pressurise iran to behave. They are free to say whatever they wish to, who are we to stop them. They asked for modi to pressurise iran, and what did they got in return, india investing 15 billion in iran, and building chahbahar port.
Given you are quite a resolved man, you should be able to grasp the direction of the flow of wind already. What is taking you that long coming to the reality of facts ?

AAD and PDV will be replaced by AD1 and AD2 respectively. There are 4 pvt companies working on the Seaker technologies, and Before we reach Aegis Defense systems, we need to master the Ka band seeker, and algorithm for the detection of the target miniturization of the onboard computer tech.

Its around 500 Per year. Akash is 3rd Generation SAM, though 1 generation behind other newer SAM, but it is not junk yet. It should be replaced with the SAM version of the ASTRA with Canitarization version and vertical launch ready to fire system with Active mode.
