IS that is all normall ? all these actions were planed before?

the CoAS has the perogative to make these changes - he will put in place Lt-Gens who are like-minded and support his agenda. age and the date of retirement also plays a role as the CoAS would like continuity in key posts like Corps Cmdrs.

.
Absolutely. Its the right of every CoAS to bring in his own team (one would hope his team would include individuals selected on performance and merit) to see his agenda through. Every single CoAS has made changes as he felt necessary.

This news has taken a whole new twist. It seems like these changes have been done at the behest of Musharraf not as an anti-Musharraf move.

If this is true, questions arise...

Is he still the unofficial CoAS?
Why is he still in the Army house and not the Presidential House?
Why did Kayani feel the need to go out of the way to clarify that the Army is not distancing itself from Musharraf
How come the President calls upon Kayani for routine debriefing and updates?

Just chorrhing a new shosha :). I'm sure others have had this thought as well.

.
Can any body tell me that the Core commanders replaced were cousins of Musharraf????????

I believe there is no harm in consultation with predessor after all he is and will remain an asset for the country and army.
Musharraf is known for his leadership and kiyani's respect for his predessor is not dubious.
I assume he is residing in Army house because of security reasons. Who knows pro-terrorist regime try to kidnap or assasinate him.

I can tell you they were you can check this up, Musharraf did this to keep supremacy in the Army while holding power in the Awan (Parliament) Kayani has suddenly replaced them and it shows how lonely Musharraf, Kayani doesn't want confrontation with Awan and plus he want to be selected as Chief of Army again although this power to do so was redirected to President, however, the new Parliament will un-do all that was done to the constitution with in matter of days.

They say "Once Bitten Twice Shy" and over here we are now being bitten the 5th time (by the same leaders cum bandits/murderers) and we are asked to be optimistic and expect these people to play miracle...what a joke.... :hitwall::sniper:

Kiyani has offered it to him-all sensitive C3 equipment has been removed.
Why did Kayani feel the need to go out of the way to clarify that the Army is not distancing itself from Musharraf
because people / media was creating this so-called rift
How come the President calls upon Kayani for routine debriefing and updates?
