Breaking: ISIL kills top Iranian Commander - Brig General in Syria

.
I dont think so, their Army is perfectly skilled for a modern arab warfare ! They were in 24 hours battle with Irak for 8 years....

"The Iran–Iraq War was an armed conflict between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Iraq lasting from September 1980 to August 1988, making it the 20th century's longest conventional war"
Their is a difference between conventional war or gorilla warfare .

.
Good News. Asad is a dictator and Iran is equally complicit in the unrest and bloodshed in muslim countries. Youtube has videos captured from Iranian Revolutionary Guards after they being either killed or captured in Syria.
don't have any hope brother, your beloved ISIS brothers are going to be killed :(

The real ideology of the revolution in Iran believes that women should fight if they are able to.

I was reading Khomeini's last will last night. Look at this section about women,

"We are proud that our women, young and old, regardless of their status, are present and active, side by side with the men, often more active than men, in all scenes including cultural, economic and military areas. They strive, sometimes more effectively than the men, for the propagation of Islamic teachings. Women who are capable of fighting take military training, which is a major prerequisite for the defence of Islam and the Islamic state. Our women have extricated themselves from the deprivations imposed on them by the enemies of Islam and by the inadequate knowledge of friends of Islamic tenets. They have bravely discarded the superstitions created by enemies through some ignorant preachers. Those women who are unable to fight in the war fronts serve behind the front-lines with such ardour and courage that makes the hearts of their men tremble with delight and it throws fear in the heart of enemies and makes ignorant individuals who are worse than foes shake with anger and fear. Often we hear our women, in a manner like that of Hazrat Zainab ...(35), cry out loud saying that they have given children in the path of God and Islam and are proud of it. They realise that what they get in return is far above the blessings of Heaven, let alone the material things of this world."

.
yet as per doha debates polls, 55% of Syrians support Assad.
The majority of Syrians support Assad, so why are we trying to remove him?
Still doesn't disprove that Asad regime is a ruling minority----------This factor in itself is the major source of conflict. BTW the article is from 2103 and the data used is even older, a lot has changed since then but if you read my post clearly i already mentioned 'Subjective Spins' wont matter against concrete fact: Asad represents minority.

It doesn't mean that people who are against Asad are pro ISIS. They are more or less the same: Responsible for civilian deaths. NATO, Russia and Iran they are all after their interests, none of them care about the innocent people.

إِنَّا للهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعونَ

Must have been a brave General unlike that Goat Al Bakri who hides like a rat.

mamma mia!!! Send me to Syria.

these ladies defend ( or defended, if they were martyred ) bashar al-assad as the rightful leader of syria, and below was your earlier post...

hmm, even though i stand opposite to khomeini ideologically, i cannot deny the wisdom in some of those words, especially this one that surprisingly seems opposite to what one would expect of him...

Khomeini is very different than what you would expect. I'm sure you think of him as this ultra religious cleric, but it's not like that at all in actuality. Yes, he was religious, but only as so far as he believed Islam to a political solution in a society. I'm still learning about him, but I've realized I had got him completely wrong all these years.

"We and the oppressed peoples of the world are delighted to be objects of criminal accusations by the superpowers through the international mass media under their control. "

I don't believe in coincidences; the rebels do not have the pin point skills and abilities to kill such a high profile Iranian General Hossein Hamedani. I am guessing there are much bigger players involved here. Having said this the killing of this general is a huge blow for Iran as he was a central Iranian figure in the Syrian war. I am also assuming that there were other key Republican Guard figures who might have died during this 'Rebel Operation'.

I think he died in an ISIS ambush, middle of the night, took both SAA and other so called rebels by surprise.
