This will definetly have an impact on Kashmiris. They will suffer more along with Indian Muslims
Yes they will and that's why they have to decide(Kashmiri Muslims and other Indian Muslims) of WHEN enough is enough. In the 90s when Kashmiris had mostly ceased their armed struggle...what did they get at the end? If living becomes worse than death that's when a person is most dangerous...he fights back like a mad man...not afraid of any consequences bcuz death is no longer the worst option...he is living the worst option. Once all this oppression(curfews, damage to their property, harassment, unlawful arrests, beatings, lynching, rape, killing them in fake police encounters, their loved ones ending up in mass graves, etc.) becomes too much to bear...they will rise up...or at least they should. God helps those who help themselves.
Heading down this path...there will only be 3 options...
1) ALL Indian Muslims(including Kashmiris) leave and go to other countries...or they convert to Hinduism.
2) They keep taking it quietly and are killed off over time
3) They fight back and secure an independent state akin to the previous partition.
Option 1...while it is technically a possibility...it is high improbable bcuz no country on Earth is going to accept that large of a population. Nor would a majority of Muslims be willing to convert to Hinduism. Second option is to just do nothing and let the suffering continue...third option is the only realistic one.
For that to happen...as I have suggested previously...the Indian Muslims need to look to history. Before Israel came into existence...while it was still Palestine under British control...Jews from all over the world started purchasing land and moving there in huge numbers. Indian Muslims need to do the same...they need to move to a location that makes strategic sense.
J&K would be a good choice...to boost the number of Muslims even further...however the Indian government that already struggles to maintain control would prevent that from happening bcuz it would make it even harder for them to control. A less noticable option where it can be pulled off over time...which IMO makes even more strategic sense is West Bengal.
1) Located by the sea...which means it won't be landlocked and at the mercy of India like Nepal or Bhutan for trade.
2) Borders Bangladesh on one end...which kinda secures them from one end in case of an Indian invasion(once they are independent)
3) Located at the region known as the chicken's neck...if it becomes independent it cuts India off from the northeastern states many of which have their own independence movements going on...making India's hold there weaker.
Indian Muslims(not Muslims of IOK) which are currently spread out and don't make a majority in any state...should start moving to West Bengal over a decade or two. The path India is heading down...means the atrocities, mistreatment, and oppression against Muslims would be even more at the point in time. That's when they can start their independence movement in full force. They can try to secure support(for finance and weapons) from China, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and possibly other Muslim countries.
This situation will be highly problematic for India...they will probably be forced to send massive numbers of troops like they did for IOK. It would be a strategic nightmare with IOK(resistance and conflict with Pak) on one end and armed struggles in West Bengal and other northeastern states on the other end(with China's claim on Arunachal). One misstep by India against China or Pak that might ignite a war...and it's a done deal...in one coordinated effort from China/Pak and that chicken's neck can be cut off rather quickly. India would be split fighting on two borders while facing sabotage and resistance on the ground in IOK and west Bengal(where the chicken's neck is). It all comes down to whether the Indian Muslims recognize the threat they are facing and prepare for it...or if they still HOPE to stick with the idea of a "secular India".
