This is a flawed assessment. Please do not be surprised when there is no letup in terrorism in Pakistan even after the fall of Kabul. It could however be amplified in magnitude.

Need to close our borders, deport all the Afghans, shoot anyone who wants to keep them and reply with twice as many blasts in Indian cities.

Until Indians live in fear of the next blast we'll be experiencing this regularly.

A government that is unable to protect its provincial capitals, whose warfighting capability has been cut to size with the surrender of 2 complete corps out of 7 ANA corps within the span of 2 weeks. It is not reasonable to imagine that government has any potential left to foment unrest in Pakistan. Please stop getting bogged down with a failed state. The actual troublemaker is the enemy in the East. Any mention of settling scores with the failed state in the West actually turns people's attention from the serpent in the East. That is not a service to the country. Be explicit, and exclusively build pressure on the decision-makers to take decisive action in the covert realm against the Indians.
