Although Myanmar is not innocent, the West is hyping the matter. It is a local dispute between Bangladesh and Myanmar. You two want to talk then talk. You two want to fight then fight. Nobody should try to bring in Western powers to meddle in the local dispute and make it worse. China vetoed the resolution because we want the dispute settled quietly not putting it on a public stage for show. Think it about it from the perspective of Myanmar. The only reason the West is hyping the dispute is to undermine Chinese investments in Rakhine state where the Rohingyas live.
