Racism against anyone is wrong but what do you do when over 1.4 billion people have the utmost extreme hatred towards you, your people, nation and religion? It is only natural that you develop extreme hatred for them, their nation and religion too. There is no other way.
We need to heal our internal fissures and orient our people and our state to be better able to compete against people that would seek to malign us.

One indication is the relatively limited number of Pakistanis in the west that expand past “safe jobs” and go into things like politics or even law.

Pakistan and its diaspora need to become a “great power” to be able to be competitive across the board. A great power is one that has both scale and sophistication. We have the scale in terms of numbers but not as much in terms of sophistication. Even our scale has slowed down due to limitations in immigration, which also need to be rectified (we have nearly a million self identified Pakistanis in the US compared to about 5 million Indians, the opportunities are here, especially for new immigrants that bring top talent like Usman Ali CEO of Devsinc). We can turnaround any negative perception or pressure on the diaspora and the nation as a whole by have even a few thousand “champions” across key industries and a more unified vision for our culture, especially when interacting with the world (while taking the time to work out our internal cultural issues in a natural and socially accepted manner)

A strong state in line with the diaspora can be mutually supportive, and better able to challenge these nefarious actors.
