Coco Island is 18 km from the Northernmost Andaman Group Landfall Island and Narcondum Island.

Any such assets will be under A&N command which is a tri service command. Also nature of this test and intentions are not clear so who knows if they will deploy there at all( as its a land attack variant which makes little sense).

It will be impossible for any neighbours to tell which version(s) of the Brahmos the ANC has under their control.

We don't have any issues with our eastern neighborhood in extended area. And I would not like to create one just for the sake of putting precious missiles where its utilization will be next to zero. We do have requirement of anti ship missiles there and that we should try to focus on.

Bro, like I have said there is no way anyone outside of the Indian Mil will no which variant of the Brahmos is deployed under the ANC and thus the possibility of creating any "issues" is moot. And one should always be planning for the future, no doubt the ANC and the senior Mil leadership in Delhi will deploy whatever assets they see fit under the ANC.

India should Reclaim Coco Island. We should learn from China how to reclaim strategic islands and not be apologetic about it.

See how China is reclaiming SCS. Ajit Doval needs to plan a long term strategy to reclaim coco island back. Nehru was a FOOL to give it illegally to Burma.
