No we cancelled export orders just for fun:hitwall::hitwall:Wat a shame a country of over 1 billions weapons exports were not even half of a country with 160 million people.
When a country is facing really bad economic crisses wat should it do?when it is providing weapons to its military whose facing a bitchyy force taliban tht is defeating 44 nations at a single time?wat should it do?In such a tough situation?provide its own army or fullfil exports?

i didnt find pakistan anywhere in that list :taz::taz:

Brahmos is Uniques missile, its the only supersonic cruise missile on earth, what about babur? brahmos cannot be intercepted, what about babur?? Even the USA is trying to make a weapon like Brahmos, are they gonna make weapons like babur?

We dont claim it indigenous Mr Jonasad, Its a Joint venture With Russia, and the BRAHMOS company was set up with a capital of 250 million$ ,50.5% from Indian side and 49.5 percent from Russian Side....

This link might help you, go through it

BRAHMOS - Universal Supersonic Cruise Missile

Currently Pakistan is not interested in interecepting any missiles your luck.. we are more interested in maintaining minimal defencive capabilities.. so we opted for Range rather than speed.. what difference it gona make if a bulk of crusie missiles are fired at a target and few are intercepted?? what matters in range.. so Babur has a edge over Brahmoos.

Actually brahmos was never meant to counter babur. Compare babur with Nirbhay

Nirbhay missile - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Brahmos purpose is single sure shot kill. Brahmos also has many variants eg land, air, sea, underwater. Once it is fired, enemy has no chance to evade it.

That's why it is unique and attracting lot of customers.

You have India to face so a long range one, we have pakistan to face so a small range one.lol... Well jokes apart even though it makes some sense..lol

Babur is good in range, but whats the use when We can detect it and Kill it?? Brahmos might not have range but we are 100% sure that it will hit the target... well now Brahmos has not only edge but has a whole thing positive over babur... Brahmos Air launch version is getting ready, and Brahmos Hypersonic with more range is also underway:pop:..

yh it makes sense.. thats exactly the reason we opted for babur.. Genious

My point is Brahmos with Max speed of 2.8 Mach hitting a target at roughly 300 km and Babur with Max speed of 0.8 Mach hitting a target at roughly 300 km... how much response time one gona get.. surely you cannot counter every Babur coming your way..:what:

P.S you cannot compare an anti-ship crusie missile with Land crusie missile.. only thing u gona destroy by brahmoos are ships on contrarary babur could destroy the whole navy base

.
Pakistan is a very skinny country a missile with 300km puts most of it under coverage.

Otherwise you would have made a hypersonic cruise missile???
Genious

Well Not certainly, we cannot counter every babur, but would you send 100 missiles in a probability that atleast one hits or would you go for a missile which gives you a single launch 100% chance of hitting?? Simple Logic to decide which is better....

Now Brahmos Is not only an Anti ship missile,
Its a Multiple Platform,Multiple target , Single missile system

We have made IRBM's so y not hyper sonic crusie missiles if the need arises :azn:

if you are talking about chance of hitting than Babur has pinpoint accuracy to Hit any target.. talking about simple logics.. if the target is 300+ km away will u still go with brahmoos?? Simple logic should also decide that and eventualy which one is better...

Its a Multiple Platform (Air, Sea, Land Launchable),Multiple target (Ability to switch between targets), Single missile system.. Lol it still gona hit Ships (Anti-Ship Crusie Missile) :hitwall::hitwall:

For the same reason why USA is unable to develop Super sonic cruise missile despite having knowhow on ICBM for decades

if you are talking about chance of hitting than Babur has pinpoint accuracy to Hit any target..

But An ABM can detect it and hit, our Phalcons can detect it, buddy, you cannot do anything but watch it get destroyed

Well, To destroy You we need not go above 300km, thats the Idea man..lol

Do you come up with such blunders all the time or only on some special occasions?

Multiple target here does not mean different ships, But any Target which the sender wants to get destroyed Which might even include a ship, But Since you are a Pakistani, its hard for you to understand and easy for you to underestimate:lol:

Let me stop you before you get more personal.. which by the way shows ur incompability to deal with matters without making it personal.. Short tempered non senses..

Read this .. this will shut you up
The Phalcon radar is designed to scan from ground level to about 40,000 feet and all moving objects in this envelope of air space are detectable except for objects returning a smaller radar cross section. A low flying cruise missile for example has a radar cross section of about .005 metre at a range of 200 km and may thus reduce the extent of early warning and logically the US is upgrading its space assets to detect such intrusion. In cases of high trajectory incoming ICBM/ IRBM, other ground based radars would have detected the missiles well before they start painting on the Phalcon Radar. A separate project on the installation of the “Big Pine” Radar system is already on the anvil for detecting missile threats. This acquisition is being seen as the forerunner to the futuristic systems for the active missile defences in the Indian air space which are currently absent.

The Value of the Phalcon AWACS for India by Prashant Dikshit

in short terms if you cant understand it which i know being from India u will not .. it basicaly says that crusie missiles cannot be intercepted by your Phalcons... and if ur mind allows you to read further it says that crusie missiles cannot be intercepted at all..

Crusie missiles are designed to fly under the radar.. they have terrain hugging, and "near-stealth" capabilities, thats why they are called crusie missiles to crusie along the ground..

Enough of your Bull ****

Read this:

PAKISTAN DEFENCE PRODUCTION: PROSPECTS FOR DEFENCE EXPORT

And now read this which says why 500M US$ export orders had to be canceled, it was due to shortage of funds and pressure of local requirements.

http://www.defence.pk/forums/land-f...facing-worst-financial-crisis.html#post759042

Hope it helps in controlling the sarcasm.

And as for your wikipedia source, try to go down and click some other links, you will find what is included of Pakistan in the International Arms Industry and what is not.

Ands yeah Babur CM can't be shown in international defence shows and sold, as its range is 700KM, which is far above the 300KM range allowed for export of missiles under Missile Technology Control Regime (MTCR). While Brahmos is less then 300Km range and with about 300KG warhead less then 500KG allowed under MTCRm, thus its exportable. Hope this gives the answer to why Pakistan cannot sell Babur CM. And yeah Ra'ad ALCM is also 300KM+ range, thus not feasible.

I do not know why Pakistan can't sell Babur or Ra'ad, but MTCR is probably not the reason. Pakistan is not a signatory to the MTCR and hence is not governed by its terms.

Pakistan is not a signatory, but the countries which are, then bring bans on those countries which violate the MTCR regulations. Take example of China & Pakistan, when it was said China has transferred M-11 missiles, US put ban on Chinese and Pakistani companies for violation of MTCR regulations. Thus the signatories have many methods through which they try to control sales among other countries too, even if they are not signatories.

Read: Moving beyond the CTBT towards nuclear stability & legitimacy

Otherwise, ever country with 300KM plus technology of missiles would have been selling its products world over. Even non MTCR countries don't as there are repercussions.

So, basically it is not the MTCR that is preventing Pakistan from making such sale, but the fear of backlash of individual laws of the signatory states that is doing the trick. In other words, it is basically a political decision and not a legal one. Why then blame MTCR.

Anyway, although China is not a signatory to MTCR, China had agreed in 1991 to abide by 1987 draft of MTCR. The sanctions were inevitable.

And yes, every non-signatory State can make such sale. They are prevented not by MTCR but by political compulsions.

Kaan ko yaahan sae pakroo yaa wahan sae, baat aik hi hoti hai.

In the end it comes to MTCR either to be a signatory or not.
