The 70-year-old said that he chose Imran as the leader of the pack as ‘Imran was strong and could handle the players’.
Boycott further said that he cannot pick Indian players just to please the audience, but admitted that even he himself would not be able to get into a line-up full of stars of the yesteryears.

“I can’t pick Indians just to please you,” Boycott told the audience. “I can’t get in the team myself. Kapil Dev was a wonderful bowler and so was Ian Botham, but I can’t put them ahead of Sobers. If you want me to be nice because I am in India I would pick five Indians, but that’s not me.”
