GGG looked slow & even hesitant, he didn't work his powerful as much, maybe age has gotten to him. Canelo look crisp & fast, but his shots failed to rattle GGG. Quite an even match I would say.

GGG clearly won the match...a very close victory. But GGG absolutely won the match.

I can explain you in boxing terms as to why I am saying it (Not sure if you actually know boxing and how boxing is scored).

Believe me, boxing buried itself by this decision. You have no idea how heart broken actual boxing fans were.

A perfect match...two greatest fighters...and the legendary 36 year old GGG won by a small margin!! What a match!!!


And what do we get? 118-110 to Canelo and overall draw?!?!?!!?! WTFFFFFFFF

Yeah, I wasn't paying attention to the score, but 118 - 110 against GGG is ridiculous... I was a little disappointed with GGG because in the match against Lemieux, GGG's jabs really messed up Lemieux's face, but against Canelo, he seemed to hold back, maybe Canelo moved too much so GGG couldn't work his jab much?

I watched some fan's/pro's reaction to the result on youtube, I can understand the disappointment.

Hope if there's a rematch it will be sooner than later. Also, Miguel Cotto wanted to fight the winner of GGG/Canelo bout, so the draw really screws up Cotto's plan as well.

Too risky, one mistake against Lemieux and it could be lights out and the end of a potential mega riches rematch with GGG, though I would love to see Saul and David go at it.Kudos

Yep, Saul Vs Lemieux. GGG won against Lemieux back in 2015. I was surprised that GGG dominated that match, really masterful display of GGG's pressure fighting style, closed down Lemieux's game plan.

No announcement yet. GGG will be older, maybe 36 by then so the odds are against him. But I hope he will be able to unify all the Middleweight belts before he retire. The next match I would like to see is Canelo up against David Lemieux, that would be an interesting match.

Canelo will most likely outbox Lemieux easily.
