Boston bombing suspects' mother: 'My sons were framed
MOSCOW - One of the two ethnic Chechens suspected of being behind the Boston Marathon bombings had been under FBI surveillance for at least three years, his mother said.
Zubeidat Tsarnaeva told the English-language Russia Today television station in a phone interview, a recording of which was obtained by Reuters, that she believed her sons were innocent and had been framed.
Tamerlan Tsarnaev, 26, was killed in a shootout with police and his 19-year-old brother Dzhokhar was captured after a day-long manhunt.
He (Tamerlan) was controlled by the FBI, like, for three to five years, she said, speaking in English and using the direct English translation of a word in Russian that means monitored.
They knew what my son was doing, they knew what sites on the Internet he was going to, she said in what Russia Today described as a call from Makhachkala, the city where she lives in Russias Dagestan region.
Tsarnaeva echoed the boys father, Anzor, who said on Friday that he believed they had been framed.
It is really, really a hard thing to hear. And being a mother, what I can say is that I am really sure, I am, like, 100 percent sure, that this is a set-up, she said.
U.S. government officials have said the brothers were not under surveillance as possible militants. But the FBI said in a statement on Friday that in 2011 it interviewed Tamerlan at the request of a foreign government, which it did not identify.
It said the matter was closed because interviews with Tamerlan and family members did not find any terrorism activity, domestic or foreign.
The FBI statement was the first evidence that the family had come to security officials attention after they emigrated to the United States from Dagestan about a decade ago.

They are calling us, calling names, threatening, saying its time to go home, Maret Tsarnaeva said Saturday. Yes, it is time. We did not find that promise democracy in this country.
But if I go home, I will go home only with bodies of my nephews, she added.
Maret sounded exhausted the day after her surviving nephew Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, 19, was taken into custody by the FBI, following a harrowing day-long manhunt that shut down an entire city and ended with the badly injured suspect hiding in a Boston-area backyard.
His 26-year-old brother Tamerlan was killed in a shoot-out with police early Friday morning.
Their aunt firmly believes its all a conspiracy.
They made our boys enemies of the American nation, Maret said. They made them victims of the conspiracy.
Born in Chechnya, Dzhokhar and Tamerlan moved to the United States from the Russian region of Dagestan with their parents in the early 2000s.
The older brother competed as a heavyweight boxer while the younger enjoyed hip hop music and was captain of his high school wrestling team.
Maret was shocked to learn that by Thursday, the boys she hasnt seen in five years had been named suspects in the finish-line explosions that killed three people and injured scores more.
She believes they were framed, held by faceless enemies even as the manhunt raged on.
They needed somebody to blame for something they committed themselves so they got them, so rejoice people, rejoice, she said in a weary voice.
When asked if there were any plans for her to head south to be with other family members also reeling from shock, she said she would if she could.
I have a little boy right here, Maret said. Who can I leave with him? Of course I would like to go and be with Ruslan and others.
Ruslan Tsarni is the suspects uncle, based in Maryland. On Friday he called the two boys losers who had shamed his community.
Tsarnaeva made it clear the FBI has not contacted her yet either.
FBI is the only one who is not contacting me because they have no interest of getting any information because they have got everything they need, Maret said.
She is convinced Dzhokhar wont be given a chance to explain his innocence.
They will make sure they will not let this boy live because they do not want this boy to have a chance, have a voice to say that People of America, I did not do this, she said.

1)Barack Obama spoke with Russian President Vladimir Putin Friday evening and thanked the Russian leader for unspecified cooperation in the investigation into the Boston Marathon bombings.
As law enforcement officials surrounded the Watertown location where 19 year old suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was suspected to be hiding, the White House released a read out of the Obama-Putin phone call, which referenced the United States and Russia working together on the Boston bombing issue.
"President Putin expressed his condolences on behalf of the Russian people for the tragic loss of life in Boston. President Obama thanked President Putin for those sentiments, and praised the close cooperation that the United States has received from Russia on counter-terrorism, including in the wake of the Boston attack," the statement said. "The two leaders agreed to continue our cooperation on counter-terrorism and security issues going forward."
National Security Staff Spokeswoman Caitlin Hayden told The Cable the White House won't say what kind of cooperation the Russians provided.
"We'll decline to provide further details at this point," she said.
Dzhokhar Tsarnaev and his older brother Tamerlan, who was killed Thursday night, were of Chechnyan ethnicity but hailed from the Russian region of Dagestan and spent several years living in Kyrgyzstan. Dzhokhar Tsarnaev became a naturalized American citizen on Sept. 11, 2012.

Does that sound innocent to anyone? Why do they have footage of the brothers dropping their bags at the exact location of the explosion, a few seconds before the explosion? Why have the injured victims identified the brothers as the bombers already?
That is what you call actual evidence. Videos, pictures, CCTV footage, witness testimony and physical evidence. As opposed to conspiracy theories.

I thought you were smarter than this. You can't just expect to be on air right away with a click of a button, especially in a country where their own companies aren't controlled by themselves.
If you were in the boys situation, how would you react? If your family denied you being involved, how would you take that? Oh, no, wait, you'd probably click a button and tell the world that you're being framed.

Real or not conspiracy theories can be a defendants claim in the court of law. Lets be objective to see where all these lead to.

I am not sure whats wrong with you but i am the last person on this planet who will ever take a side of the terrorist you just lost 1 to terrorist attacks we have lost 1000s.
As far as the articles goes i didn't print or wrote it thats why i gave out links. Russians are well known to use their own security services to carry out attacks on their own civilians.
i must have missed it mind sharing that evidence please i cant find it any where.

They have video footage of them planting the bombs, many pictures, and they also have them throwing pipe-bombs at the police.

You seem to have ignored my previous post, #6. I assume that you have nothing to say about it?
And, yes, articles are just words. Not proof. If you say they have pictures, and videos, how can you verify them? Show me which pictures and videos you are referring to, and I will respond. I can make a picture of me throwing a pipe-bomb with a dark outline, and make it look very resembling to the events which took place.
