Born Pakistani, he died a Hazara

There are many wahabis living in Pakistan that don't indulge in this kind of criminal behavior. If you study Islam, if you are a Muslim at all, you will know this is not allowed.

Yes, of course, in the same way that some used to react with "no muslim could do this" after acts of terrorism in Pakistan - SSP, LeJ, these groups are involved with the targeted killings of Hazara in B'stan -- and these groups along with TTP are funded by the Wahabi of Arabia and the Gulf.

Listen, be whatever, but if you preach as Wahabi preach that persons who do not accept their theology are wajib ul Qatl, then don't get angry that people think of you as savages, instead prepare, because thinking of you as savages is just the beginning, we pakistanis and Muslims know how to defend ourselves from the Wahabi.

You are a sick and hateful man. I know there are at least three members here who have this background on the forum and are the least hateful among all of the posters.

Spill your venom. You shame our nation.

Pakistani journalist seeks asylum | The Australian

A PAKISTANI journalist from the persecuted Shia Hazara community has sought asylum in Australia, saying he was forced to flee the country because of death threats from military-backed militants.

News of 38-year-old Amjad Hussain's plea for asylum emerged yesterday as journalists and human rights groups in Pakistan and internationally marked the first anniversary of the murder of Pakistani journalist Saleem Shahzad.

Mr Hussain was based in Balochistan for the English language news channel Dawn TV before transferring from the provincial capital Quetta to Islamabad in 2010 following death threats, and a narrow escape from a suicide attack.

But he claims the threats continued after he moved to the capital and last October he quit his job and fled the country.

WTF?

.
I hate all these segregation between groups, even hate more when people harm you based on segregation. It's disgusting.

.
So, another one dies in search and enforcement of real Islam.... Good going...

.
This Hazara animosity has come up pretty recently AFAIK.

WHats the real reason?

I or anybody in my circle don't care whether the other guy is a Hazara, Baloch, SIndhi or whatever, as long he is a good guy and a good friend. I have had Urdu speaking, kashmiri, Balti, Baloch, Pathan friends.

SO what fuels this animosity, enmity?

There has to be a proper reason that some nutjob decides to stop a bus in the highway and kill some specific people.

The idea is to divide the country into as many groups as possible and we have helped our enemies no end on this. Our very own 'democratic' government takes the lead in dividing the nation by raising slogans of more provinces based on language and ethnicity.

Ever since Wahabization of Pakistan, at the hands of the murderous Zia (a Punjabi) , Pakistan has seen a steady rise in sectarianism, intolerance and of course terrorism.

The damage that Zia did to the ethos of Pakistan is inestimable. The effects are clearly apparent to this day, with no prospects of any abatement. The great Leader and Statesman that M.A. Jinnah was; he would have found it difficult to own Zia as one of his own countrymen.

The abiding tragedy of what went wrong in Pakistan, and turned things 180 degrees from the Quaid's dream of Pakistan.

Add salafi-ism, barailvis, ahle-hadith and a never ending ism ism..

. .
I can't resist muttering "may he (Zia) forever rot in hell" whenever I read these kind of stories, news or articles. Zia wanted to convert Pakistan into a Wahabi dystopia under the tutelage of Saudi Arabia, and the demon almost succeeded in accomplishing his evil mission.

.
To be honest, there is a lot of ethnic, sectarian, and language based divide in Pakistan and i know this for sure due to my personal experience. And the leaders alone aren't to be blamed for this, its the people as well. Maybe Pakistan should go through another 1971, lose a big chunk of its territory, and then we'll probably learn our lesson. But if that doesn't teach us a lesson then we shall continue to witness more 1971's until we have lost this country for good.

What the heck is that supposed to mean ?

No offense but Punjabis are very discriminatory against other ethnicity's. I remember once i was speaking Urdu to this Punjabi manager of a store i was working in NYC and he got offended because i was speaking Urdu, he asked me from where i was from in Pakistan and i told him Lahore, he tells me in a demeaning manner "you should go to Karachi" or something of that sort.

My parents speak Punjabi but they raised me to speak Urdu however i can understand Punjabi (most of it), and it pi$$es me off so much that such ethnocentric and discriminate people live in Pakistan, no wonder we have such honest leaders.

I live in NYC never come across something like that I was raised speaking Urdu but I understand Punjabi usually when I come across Punjabi's they ask me if I speak Punjabi I be like no they talk to me in Urdu no problem. (I'm Punjabi btw)

This story shows the need for education and tolerance in Pakistan just heart breaking.
