کربلا تو آج بھی جاری ہے اے بے خبر

لیکن افسوس کہیں بھی کوئی حر ہم کو نظر آتا نہیں

کہنے کو تو ہم سب ہی امام کے ہیں محب

پھر کیوں لشکر حسین میں کوئی پیکر وفا نظر آتا نہیں

افسوس لیتے ہیں ہم سب نام حسین کا

لیکن تقلید حسین کرتا کوئی ہم کو نظر آتا نہیں

کیا میرا رونا ،میرا ماتم ہے کسی کام کا

جب مجھ میں عکس حسین نظر آتا نہیں

Battle of Karbala is still going on
But alas we don’t see any Hur
By Fashion we call ourselves followers of Imam(Hussain)
Then why we dont see any Loyal Follower in his Army
Alas we all take the name of Imam Hussain
But we never like to follow his foot steps
Is my crying and mourning is of any use
When Image of Imam cannot be seen in my Acts
