PESHAWAR: A bomb exploded with a bang at Indus Highway near Peshawar on Saturday, moments after a security convoy passed from the blast site.
However, the blast caused no casualties.
The explosion occurred in the jurisdiction of Badh Beer Police Station at Kohat Road.
Police is trying to determine the location and nature of the blast, sources said.
The bomb was planted in the middle of the road which went off with loud bang causing a huge crater on the road.
Security forces cordoned off the area after the incident. The police seized a stationary vehicle whose glasses had shattered due to the explosion.
