*IMC-USA: Demand an investigation into indiscriminate police firing After
Juma Prayers near Macca Masjid, Hyderabad.

*According to various reports five people were killed and seven others were
injured in police firing during protests that followed the bomb blasts at
Macca Masjid in Hyderabad, India. Several of the victims have been shot
above the waist. As per rules of engagement police must start with warning
fires and than at the feet to disperse the crowd and prevent fatalities; but
the police fired at the demonstrating crowd, the very first round above
waist-level. Eye witnesses say the police fired live bullets without
provocation.

*Total human toll: According to various reports *

11 Killed and over 50 injured in bomb blasts*.
5 Killed and 7 injured in police firing.

**IMC - USA urges all concerned to immediately call and write to the
authorities and demand the following. *

1. CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) Inquiry of the police
shootings.
2. Suspension and prosecution of Police officers involved.
3. Ask why did police fired above waist right from the beginning?
4. Ask why were self-loading rifles used?
5. Ask how many inquiries are going on? If so what is the progress?

Not the first time, they have shot at political party members above waist when they were rioting.

Well you are playing into their hands my dear. You feel you are not getting agood deal here. Look at the muslims in Pakistan.

2000 muslims ( thats the highest figure guessed by HRW) died in Gujarat in 2002. Prior to that major rioting happened after babri masjid demolition...in which 600 muslims died (total 900 died majority were muslims). More than 3000 muslims have died in Pakistan alone which claims itself as a islamic state and is just a third of India in size and population. Holy places are attacked, believers are mercilessly slaughtered while offering prayers in a much much large number than in India . The muslims are definitly more safe here in India than in Pakistan.

All these cries are only because more Muslims were killed in riots than Hindus.
I seriously want to know what if more Hindus were killed?

The fact remains that it is "okay" when Saddam slaughters hundreds on Shittes. No voice raised in Muslims world,it is okay when Sunnis are pitted against Shittes in Pakistan,no voice raised.
It is okay when in Lebonan,army forces bomb civilians areas,but it is not okay when Israel carries target killing.

But the whole world breaks loose when non-Muslims are involved in riots with Muslims.

Can you then tell me why Muslims in India have the right to practice Sharia law? why is it allowed,when Hindus want to force "values" on Muslims

You mean to say Indian government should not do anything when some people roam around carrying guns in Kashmir,just because they are Muslims.
Police should not arrest criminals,if they find out they are Muslims?
We have no interest in creating a NWFP in Kashmir,where people can roam around with guns.

The Muslims of India are citizens of India.If there are criminals among them the Indian government has the right to arrest or shot if necessary. This stands for all religions in India.

The Indian government does not blink when shooting Moaists in India,who are Hindus,then why it needs to give preferential treatment to Muslims.

As far Indian police arresting Muslims is considered,they arrest the same amount of Hindus.Just because it does not reported as "majority oppressing majority" is never a hot seller. As the case in Pakistan. Muslims killing Muslims is "riots" and "extremism" in Pakistan,not oppression
