When BOL was launched, it faced numerous setbacks due its affiliation with EXACT and its scandal of selling fake degrees. Hence, it wasn't a surprise when people refused to trust the credibility of the channel. However, all the past issues are now forgotten and the channel has now officially launch and will compete against big wigs like ARY, GEO and DAWN news.

According to reports, BOL in its opening hours, smashed all past records of viewership. So imagine what tough competition it will give to other channels after its official launch. The channel has on board names like Hamza Ali Abbasi, Amir Liaquat, Sajid Hassan, Ali Salman, Nabeel and Nadia Hussain on to host various shows.

Geo only has its news channel now all other geo channels are no longer enjoying the supermacy they once had
With geo news becoming baboon central i see further decline in their popularity

Good to hear. Despite his off camera antics I have always maintained that amir liaqat has been blessed with great knowledge that is based not only on Islamic affairs but other matters as well and I personally like his shows. Decent on camera. :p .

Yes but others as well are not forgiven for their stands. ARY. Whenever I try to watch news you can almost feel the propaganda that is being imposed. The thing is that the beauty of media is that they should be impartial calling spade to spade. If the govt did something right, report it as such and if it did something wrong call it out. Same for every political party in their centers but unfortunately its not just a Pakistan phenomenon. All over the world media ethics are reaching extreme low. Look across the border and look at western media.

Shoving their own opinions and shoving their own agendas and shoving their own affiliations is not the job of the media. Their job is to bring truth and report the situation happening. The one thing that was supposed to combat propaganda became that very tool of propaganda. Sad.

Anyhow got expectations from bol. Hope it rises above with great journalistic ethics as well report truth. Not affiliations.

He has turned into a better person after leaving geo the words he used to justify ban on Indian content really made respect him a little he also impressed me with bashing CII Mullahs on women abuse bill

ARY is ok but personally i prefer to watch Samaa for news at my home (one reason is Nadeem Malik is kind of my neighbour )

I am a big fan of ARY,s sarey aam program that program really shows the hypocrisy of our morally and ethically corrupt public

ARY group spends most on entertainment and their film awards were first to implement no Indian songs rule i kind of respect them for that

In west media is not that different from ours
US election taught me how similar politicians and media houses are across the world i mean fox called anti Trump protestors and anti democracy rioters that was the exact word GEO news used in 2014 protests
CNN accused Trump of being Russian agent kind of like Mubashir Lukman on khara sach
