Good for Saudi Arabia. All of Egypt's 46 Apaches are just as neutered --as it's F-16's-- without the Longbow radar which the US refuses to supply as part of the helicopters or any upgrade. Longbow makes 12 helicopters act as one huge UFO and gives them all 360 degree view from incoming threats. Go get 'em Saudi!

Blackhawk is a sweet helo for close, troop support, logistical equipment delivery and critical EVAC working with deeply embedded troops. It unfairly took a hit with the whole 'Blackhawk down" incident and the movie. Any American-built & operated system that goes down outside of the US is always blown way out of proportion. Similarly, the F-117 shot down in Serbia received the same aftermath of propaganda. It didn't matter that the aircraft had flown hundreds of prior missions and was never detected. One was shot down and that's all that mattered so stealth was a joke, American stuff is a joke etc.

Near my area on a early, Sunday summer cruise, I drove past a very small, local airport that barely operates 20 Cessnas and small prop aircraft and there was a Blackhawk parked on the grass passed the tiny runway and just sitting there, easily accessible off the road and myself, along with several other motorist took the liberty to get a closer look! It was locked, I did check hahaha but no one even said anything to us.
