DHAKA, Aug 17 (BSS) - Minister without portfolio Suranjit Sen Gupta today said the BNP-Jamaat led four-party alliance government was responsible for the grenade attack on August 21 and country-wide bomb assault on August 17.

He said, "It is not possible to blast country- wide series bomb at a time in 63 districts out of 64 without the engagement of the government. Khaleda Zia and Nizami must be involved in the incident.(So) they must face the judgment."

He was speaking as the chief guest at a procession followed by a human chain organized by Awami Swechchasebak League (ASL) in front of National Press Club marking the 7th anniversary of series bomb attack.

General Secretary of the organization Pankaj Debnath, vice-president Nirmal Ranjan Guha, executive secretary Sheikh Sohel Rana Tipu, president of Dhaka unit (South) Debashish Biswas and president of Dhaka unit (North) Mobashher Chowdhury and Tanvir Shakil Joy, MP, also spoke.

Suranjit claimed that Begum Khaleda Zia and Jamaat are still
encouraging the banned militant force.

He urged everybody to be united to fight against the evil force and save the country.

Suranjit said opposition leader and BNP chairperson should beg pardon to the nation confessing her involvement.

Apart from political or economic news there is not anything to discuss here. You were tiered seeing irrelevant threads but now you will be pleased to find this section become extinct in one week time.

Just come back after 1 week and find this reality. But this will be good in 1 sense as it will save many people's time from wasting.

I like it this way. I also visit other forums where for years we've been discussing only defence related stuff (procurements, war scenarios, R&D ideas) and nothing else!

I will report every non-defence related threads now onwards, with the exception of a few important news threads from captain_planet and idune.

The way i see it, a defence forums should have defence news. Yes we do not have much to talk about in that context, but the few we have should be discussed in a more detailed manner. Also, no. of thread posts should be less. Why make a news a news, if all you got to do it spit verbal diarrhea on each other.

A lot of things can be discussed. I will personally try to come up with somethings. If you noticed, i dont usually post in political threads as i know it is not going change an atom in our country. Calling each other names is just degrading your own status in an international forums where other people also observe these things. If a dog bites you, you dont bite it back..but i guess in Bangladeshi dictionaries we have an otherwise stated concept.

Take a look at other sections, they discuss lot of possibilities and predictions and point of views..we can do the same. All we need to do it keep away the political-loving sh*t from these threads.

Trying is not hard. Also its for free. Really!!

I would like to add some stuff here. Discussing defense stuff in a defense forum is quite natural. No one has stopped others from doing so. But none of the Bangladeshi member is interested of doing so what it seems from the trends over there. Lack of defense stuff to discuss and other personal agenda may be the reason. Those who are interested to discuss defense forum they should do that. Other threads are running should not be the excuse for not discussing defense topics as not discussing defense topics promotes others to discuss different topics. Though discussing other Bangladesh strategic topics is not against the forum rule as one can see from the description of topics which is allowed to discuss in this section.

Bangladesh Defence
Discuss Bangladesh defence, military, air force, navy, army, special forces, strategic affairs and relations with the other countries.

Regarding biting each other or spitting verbal diarrhea on each other, I can say it appears most of the people like this and all the Indian trolls mostly come here with that intention and among the Bangladeshis it seems there are two groups BAL and anti BAL. Most of these group people are directly or indirectly affiliated with politics.

If any one do not like any topics they are more then welcome to ignore those threads altogether instead saying other threads can not be discussed. It is same as other's saying we only need to run anti awami league threads.

I have nothing more to add. But will prefer others to promote defense related thread instead of just expecting others to do that. With only 8-10 Bangladeshi member and another 5-10 part time member it is difficult but everyone should give a try.
