As with the US it is not just the killing of their top leadership but US has been helping pakistan ever since the beginning of ttp issue. When pak govt shamelessly allowed baitullah mehsud to rule swat it was only the US who vehemently oppossed it. When pak army started fighting ttp US provided military aid and even reimbursed the cost of fighting.
Mehsood Tribes are ruling their territory since hundreds of years and long long before USA invaded Afghanistan. Its their territory and they joined Pakistan under an agreement because of which they have semi-autonomous stature. Pakistan didn't allow Baitullah Mehsood to govern but he has its legal territory and being the tribal head, he does so by design.
It is an imagination of yours that Baitullah was sheltered or saved by Pakistan. For your education, Baitullah was allegedly involved in the killing of BB and was required by Pakistan, secondly, suicidal attacks in Pakistan were launched by Baitullah because of which Pakistan announced a bounty of RS. 50,000,000 for providing information about him. He had been conducting operations in Pakistan from his hideouts and his arrest, death or information about him was seeked by the state of Pakistan itself.
The even provided thousands of precision guided munitions for free, and even with that, pak army pathetically failed to take out a single one of top ttp leadership. Finally US had to drone Hakeemullah to his brothel paradise. And they killed baitullah when they got an opportunity, at a place 1km near to pak army base...All these are verifiable facts which stand against your conspiracy theories...And all the conspiracy theorists got is some conjecture based upon suppossed use of satellite phone-which is also false because they had long stopped using satellite phone directly and they do it by other means..btw you still didn't answer my question-what is the conspiracy theorist explanation for the silence of army or ispr in supposed us assistance to ttp?pak army have power, strong allies (china,oil rich arabs ), leverage over USA..yet why dont they utter a word against such a heinous crime..?
I have been finding resources about Baitullah and the incident where USA had locked on him but didn't fire missile to kill him but I am not able to find one
yet. But for your enlightenment, I would share it with you.
NOW looking back at today, the fact is that USA doesn't want TTP to settle their problems with Pakistan. They killed Hakeemullah within days he agreed to talk with Pakistan. What is your justification for USA allowing him to live unless he decided to undergo a dialogue with Pakistan. That clearly shows USA had option to eliminate him but they only did when he went against their favoured line.
And why do you think USA would want to kill Baitullah when they didn't want to kill Hakeemullah? Both belong to same tribe and had same stances towards Pakistan and United States of America.
