In an attempt to drive out anti-government fighters, the Iraqi army has reportedly been dropping barrel bombs on the city of Fallujah, killing civilians, hospital sources and witnesses told Al Jazeera.

The use of barrel bombs in civilian areas is banned under international conventions, given their indiscriminate nature.

Mohammed al-Jumaili, a local journalist, told Al Jazeera that the army has repeatedly dropped barrel bombs "targeting mosques, houses and markets" in Fallujah.

Barrel bombs are simple but destructive — they're oil barrels stuffed with explosives that get dropped from helicopters.

I don't think either Shia or ISIS really consider eachother's Masjids as Masjids so both don't hesitate to destroy them.

First of all, I don't trust Al-Jazeera a terrorist network operated by a terrorist country (Qatar). They are the mouthpiece of many terrorist groups in ME.

Secondly, don't even start with actions of government. Do I need to mention actions of Pakistan's government that led to death of thousands of civilians? Unlike some pathetic sectarian people, I condemn killing of civilians regardless of their sect, be it Sunni or Shia. Just read that thread on school massacre in Peshawar or other terrroist attacks in Pakistan or other areas.
The problem with your stupid example is that I have never cheered for barrel bombs that killed civilians and have said numerous times that civilians have been killed by both SAA and 'rebels'. Only because I prefer Assad to opposing side doesn't mean I approve each and every action of his gov or army.

If Islam was a 'Saudi' religion, there are about 1.5 billion too many Muslims. It's not that easy. There was a time when muslims were advanced and even Arabs were advanced. They conquered many lands and made people convert to Islam. and here we are today. Islam is just a copy-paste of any other Abrahamic religion, it's just that the people sadly are less developed.

But it doesnt end there....the root of the conflict in which you are engaged with Saudi is clearly their problem(who had to sit on the throne after Muhammad?Ali or Abu bakr).... I don't think that's the real problem. Ask an average muslim, and he wouldn't even know who Ali or Bakr is. At least here in Europe. The fact is that the US is using sectarianism to curb Iranian influence in the region. It's that simple. The average Syrian or Iraqi didn't really think about these things a lot. All of a sudden, after the US invasion, we saw daily car/truck bombs. And then that 1400 year old fairy tale became important again: Ali or somebody else.
