Your interpretation of Islam will be the salvation? Or someone elses interpretation..
There are several sects within both the Sunni and Shia school.
Only option is to respect each others belief, even if you disagree with them.
My Islam is that which 90% of all the 1.7 billion Muslims follow with very few differences as a whole.
I attended the salat al-jum'ah today and from what I could see and hear there were at least 20 nationalities and there was no difference between us.
One thing is religion and another thing is politics.
Besides I am not in favor of enforcing anything on anyone.
I am not calling for any attacks on anybody all I am saying is that people hostile towards my religion, people (Arabs) and lands (Arab world) will be met with the same hostility. The Iranian regime, their proxies/allies and supporters are people who are against us on all fronts thus they are considered as enemies.
You think the same about us.
Thus it is what it is. I can either pretend (like I did for years) that everything is fine and that only a vocal minority is causing trouble but the reality is that even us Muslims based outside of the MENA region can't even have genuinely good ties. There is never any genuine support or cooperation. It's always about rivalry or differences. Am I supposed to ignore that?
Am I supposed to just accept the plans that your regime and their proxies have for this region and work actively for? Of course not.
This is nothing personal as I am not part of any battlefront. I am talking in general.
That's why I have called for no relations between the Arab world and Iran. Like it no relations at all. I even wrote that I believe that all Iranians on PDF should be banned from writing in Arab topics (such as this one) and vice versa when it comes to Arabs writing on Iranian topics although they are a tiny, tiny minority in comparison here on PDF and in general elsewhere.
You accuse all of us ordinary Sunni Muslim Arabs of being ISIS 24/7 (almost everyone of us) while you never criticize the Al-Assad regime, the crimes of Shia militias in Iraq and Syria, the crimes of Houthi's etc.
I am not talking about Shia Arabs as 95% of us live in peace together in all Arab countries.
So yes, the solution is simple. Avoid each other and have no contact.
Maybe it will change when your Mullah's will be removed but that won't happen in your life time or if the Arab regimes will be removed. I don't know.
I stand with my religion (Islam) and people (Arabs) and if that makes me ISIS then so be it.
In reality ISIS is just a symptom of the overall disease in the ME whose roots and causes can be found on many fronts. Those crying about ISIS support smaller or similar "ISIS" elsewhere when it suits them.
Iranians/Shias crying about House of Saud while staying silent about their own regime which is not any better in fact worse on many fronts.
Iranians/Shias crying about ISIS but ignoring/cheerleading for Al-Assad's regime.
Vice versa too.
So you tell me who is fooling himself?
