India Blame Pakistan For Jalalabad Consulate Attack
Azhar Nadeem August 3, 2013
Afghanistan: Unknown assailants stormed Indian Consulate in Jalalabad today killing at least 24 people and injuring 24 other. No Indian official from the consulate is among the dead or injured. Reportedly three suicide bombers drove in a car and approached office of Consulate General of India in Jalalabad. Two of the three attackers got out of the car and a gunfire erupted between security guards and militants. Failing to pass the security barrier, suicide bombers detonated themselves near the check post. Third attacker also detonated his suicide vest inside car.

There was doomsday like situation on blast scene as human flush and dead bodies were spread everywhere. Victims’ also included eight young king kids were Indian Visa seekers. Explosions shook the site and windowpanes of nearby buildings were smashed. Several houses, a mosques and number of shops were damaged in the attack.

All the staff and building of the consulate remained safe. Consulate was receiving threats for past one week and a team of security experts was also visiting Kabul to assess the threats.

Syed Akbar Uddin, a spokesperson for Indian Ministry of external affairs had deeply regretted the loss of innocent lives and termed it as an attack not only on India but also on Afghan society as well. He said that Indian government is undeterred by latest attack and would continue to play its role in rebuilding of Afghan Society.

Afghan foreign minister, Zalmay Rassoul while expressing his deep sorrow over loss of innocent lives said that Afghan security forces will no stone unturned to protect the life and properties of Indians working for a better Afghan future.

Afghan Taliban has denied their involvement in the attack. With a clear cut denial of involvement from local insurgent in hand, India has all the reason to believe that “Terror Machinery” operating from across the border is responsible for this attack. Jalalabad is an area bordering Afghanistan and is a stronghold of Haqqani Network. Indians believe that Haqqani Network is terrorist face ISI.

Indian were very quick in tracing out the nationalities of attackers and pointing a finger towards Pakistan which borders both Afghanistan and India. Indian intelligence sources collecting evidence for comprehensive investigations revealed that suicide bombers traveled from across the border and stayed in Kunar province before launching attack on Indian Consulate.

Spokesperson for Indian Ministry of External Affairs said that latest attack has once again highlighted that terror machinery operating from across the border is real threat to security and stability of Afghanistan.

indian consulates are supporting terrorism in Pakistan , this attack was done by a terrorist group which the indian consulte was working with but didnt pay them the agreed compensation , Pakistan had nothing to do with this attack

What Pakistan should do is just level these indian terrorists with large scale cruise missile attacks

It's been clear, Pakistan is irked badly by newly Afghan-India trade route and didn't had the capacity to attack the Kabul embassy directly rather used a far away small consulate in eastern Afghanistan - hope everyone is safe and sound in the consulate; this only shows we are moving for greater friendship and thus giving our common enemy some hard time.

Long live Afghan-Indian friendship!

PS: The fags killed and wounded innocent people near the mosque :( RIP

Pakistan is obsessed with India, not Afghanistan. Embassies and consulates of both Pakistan and india in afghanistan are filled with ISI and RAW agents respectively.
