Most Pakistanis dont care anymore....sad but true...How long will it be before somebody blames India?
Anyway, this is what happens when religious beliefs and texts are used to judge human actions.
The question that was on the minds of the bombers who did this, was whether it was ok to do it in the name of islam.
And when other Pakistanis who are appalled by such violence and murders speak, they will say it was an unislamic thing to do, and a "real" muslim would not have done that, and the quran doesn't recommend it and so on.
Unless and until human beings start acting on the basis of reason, and not ancient religious texts, such violence will never end. No matter what your religion/sect/favorite god is, as long as you use ancient texts to determine what to do in society, such things will continue to happen.
When people make it a virtue to follow the "one true religion", whatever that religion may be, this is what will ensue. If people do a simple analysis using reason and logic about whether a certain action is good or bad, they won't harm people randomly anymore.
The question is not whether such acts are Islamic or un-Islamic. The question is whether such acts are humane or not. Moral or not. Until people realize that morality is based on REASON and not in ancient books, humans everywhere will keep paying the price.
