Rana sees RAW hand behind attack

PUNJAB Law Minister Rana Sanaullah on Monday said that India’s RAW was involved in the suspected suicide car bomb attack in Lahore.
India’s Research and Analysis Wing intelligence agency was involved in Monday’s suspected suicide car bomb attack on a special investigation unit that killed 13 people, Minister Rana Sanaullah told reporters in Lahore.
“Besides other neighbouring countries, India’s RAW agency is also involved. Israel and other countries could also be involved,” he said.
At the same time, Sanaullah claimed militants against whom Pakistani security forces were conducting operations in the Waziristan tribal region were behind the terrorist attacks.
He claimed these militants were being backed by “foreign hands”.

Banned outfit possibly behind Lahore blast

LAHORE: Intelligence sources suspect banned outfit Lashkar-e-Jhangvi plotting Monday’s Lahore blast, saying it could be behind the attack.

Meanwhile, a suspicious person has also been arrested from the site of the blast.

Intelligence agency sources said that key member of Lashkar-e-Jhangvi Shoaib Cheema is under custody of Special Investigation Agency (SIA), and this blast could be the reaction of his arrest.

The law enforcers have detained a person named Tariq from the site of the incident and some important pictures have been recovered from his mobile. While the detainee has been shifted to some unknown place for further interrogation. SAMAA

Lahore suicide blast: Punjab govt to overcome losses



LAHORE, Chief Minister Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif has said that provincial government will overcome the losses caused by a suicide attack at Special Investigation Agency (SIA) here, reported.

Talking to media on Tuesday during his visit to the site of the blast at Model Town, chief minister said that terrorism is not a problem of any single province, adding that it's the national duty to get rid of terrorism.

Suicide blast caused extensive damage to Quran academy and various other houses and all the losses will be overcome after the calculations, Shahbaz added.

Shahbaz said former president General Pervez Musharraf (retd) was responsible for the terrorism in the country and he should be punished.
