The two navy personnel who died when they stopped and checked a teenage suicide bomber, who blew himself up as he was being searched, are heroes. Through their timely intervention they prevented the terrorist entering the Naval Headquarters in Islamabad. Other security men who have died at check posts too deserve our thanks. There is evidence that these guards, who have so often died in bomb attacks, are doing a commendable job. In the event of the latest bombing they acted on the tip-off of an alert passer-by and searched a boy loitering near the entrance to the Naval Headquarters. Views vary as to whether his target was a senior navy officer or a school run within the premises of the headquarters. One schoolboy was injured. But had the bomber been able to enter the toll could have been much higher.
In this case, as in others, the bomber too is a victim. Aged only 16, he was seen loitering near his target for over 20 minutes. We can only wonder what thoughts, what fears, ran through his mind. We still do not know how many other children may be in the hands of terrorists. We do not know where they come from or how they have been lured away from parents themselves snared in the trap of poverty. But we must do more to save other teenagers who could be unleashed on unsuspecting people everywhere. Tightened security measures have begun to pay off. So too has greater vigilance by citizens. We need to encourage more involvement from people if militancy and all the suffering it brings are to be controlled. The first steps towards this have been taken. We must continue to march along the same path till we see an end to terrorism and its many horrors.

Okay for an instance we accept it a truth. US and Pakistan both accept that Taliban are undefeatable. Now what will happen? US will draw back its troops and go back home. Pakistan can't. So what? Will Taliban be a threat to Pakistan? No.
Let me remind you the scenario after the Mumbai attacks. When Indian and Pakistani troops were on a high alert and the chances of war were at peak, Baitullah Mehsood, the then-commander of TTP offered a peace treaty to GoP to fight together agianst India. Remember?
So if that happens than we can make a good heck of friendship to turn them for our interests.
Can India in that case defeat Taliban? But No, you just yourself said Taliban can't be defeated. Good.

This situation will only come if ...Pakistani forces are weak enough to concede their entire country to Taliban.....and then wait for the entire world to bomb Pakistan the way Afghanistan was bombed......Taliban winning over Pakistan is going to have much deadlier results to Pakistan and no one else.
Anyways back on topic......
A bad day for Pakistan...yet again attack....I feel sorry for the demise of innocents..who don't deserve to pay for their administrations folly's with their lives.

And by that time with US out of much weaker Afghanistan, Will the world dare to repeat history against a stornger Pakistan?
I Said it just a C.T. Conspiracy Theory. Neither its gonna happen nor Taliban are gonna win. That was just a tit for tat for a very "Sensible" (a prefix I missed) member of this forum.

RAWALPINDI: The Islamabad Capital Territory Police has released a sketch of the teenage suicide bomber who blew himself at the entrance of the Naval Complex on Wednesday, DawnNews reported.
A senior police official told DawnNews in Islamabad that the sketch had been prepared with the help of eyewitnesses, who later confirmed that it closely resembled the actual attacker.
The Police official said the boy was between 14 and 17 years of age and belonged to Gilgit-Baltistan. He added that he was not familiar with Urdu.
The official also said that the young suicide bomber was seemingly forced to carry out the attack.
He further said that the bomber spent about forty-five minutes near the Naval Complex entrance before finally deciding to blow himself up.
Police have urged the family of the teenage suicide bomber to contact authorities in Islamabad on Rescue 15 emergency numbers. They have also announced a reward of 2.5 million rupee for anyone who can provide information about the suicide bomber.
Authorities added the informer’s identity will be kept secret.— DawnNews
