Explosion rocks Hayatabad Township, four injured
PESHAWAR, Mar 28 (APP): An explosion rocked CD shop at Bilal Market situated in Hayatabad Township here on Sunday, injuring four persons.
According to Police, the explosion occurred at a round 4:20 p.m and cause of it is apparently a planted device which suddenly went off causing fear among residents of the area.
A local when contacted said it might be an explosion of gas cylinder. However, Police confirmed that explosive was planted at the Afghan CD shop in the Bilal market which is usually congested with shoppers but fortunately due to weekly holiday rush of people was less at time of explosion.
After the bomb blast, police party rushed to the spot and started investigation while local people rushed the injured to Hayatabad Medical Complex for emergency treatment.
