Blast in Blue Area, Islamabad

News channels reporting a bomb blast heard in Blue Area. Blue Area is the area in which the Presidency, Cabinet division, PM house, Supreme court and government buildings are placed. Today there was APC there, so one expects security arrangements to be made.

There was a thread the other day that a terrorist had been arrested from behind the presidency.

One of my relatives also live near Blue Area.

This is blue area, the main road of the area.

Alot of importanat business centres and govt. buildings are located in this area. Radio, TV stations, Stock exchange etc etc. a posh kind of area.

today there was APC conference, COAS, DG ISI, PM all were there. Security expected to be top notch.

Blast on the 4th floor of the city hotel. No fire reported. 4 people injured confirmed right now, one woman included in them. Windows of nearby buildings broken. No killed as of yet.
Unlikely to be a suicide bomber on the fourth floor.

So in other words, it was not a suicide blast.
