Being a Pakistani, we know very well who is responsible for this mess. No doubt if the pak Government (military) & Afghan government after soviet war rehabilitated the Taliban ( then mujahideen) with Education, Homes etc, things would’ve been different. Now we are fighting a costly war, biggest mistake done by then ruler mushraf !!! It has been a decade since the war on terror, the results are a mix bag with a huge price. Well I hope we learn a lesson this time. Pashtuns must never ever again let themselves be used like pawns and then discarded and blamed others mistakes . Well this is a multi-pronged issue that requires a solution in multiple areas.

Attacking the ideology, the morale, and also the network they have built up, safe havens, etc.
