They are readily available and tbh USA can do whatever they want with their weapons - China is already talking to Pakistan re the supply of these. No need for India to have wet emotions - simply a must to buck up our long term defenses. Great idea - great thinking

Yes, China already is soft financing JF-17.

And the heavier the better. When NATO uses A-10 and Longbow Apache against Pakistani Ak-47 why shouldnt Pakistan use FD-2000 and LD-2000?

The systems are very readily available in no frills models since they are Chinese. Star wars and intergalactic weapons are banned universally by Outer Space Treaty. And I do not understand your objection since India is itself buying weapons like a mad man, left and right having already bought S-300 and now going for S-400 in addition to Tor M1 and Pantsir S1/ Tanguska etc.

You sir are a think tank and you are talking like a novice. The debate here isn't to go take out US and NATO assets in afghn. as retaliation, rather to provide Pakistan sufficient air defense system that they think twice about coming in.

It is actually easier than clapping. The systems are Chinese and can be acquired very easily besides they are cheap. Pakistan just needs perhaps 12 of these FD-2000 with a range radius of 125 Km to give complete coverage of entire nation. At the cost of less than 100 million dollars a piece (S-300PMU costs 150 million) and with a brotherly Chinese concession it would perhaps cost about a billion dollar to get 12 systems. LD-2000 costs perhaps less than 2 million dollars a piece and 500 of those would again cost another billion dollar. Total cost of giving a superb air defense for Pakistan is two billion dollars. Not very expensive. Besides China delivers it quick to Pakistan over a year or max two. Consider this:

Just like JF-17 program we can get Chinese loan of lets say 20 years to finance these system. With low Chinese interests that would come to just 10 million dollars a month. This amount is peanuts for Pakistan since it comes to just 0.18 cents per person per day or almost 0.16 Pakistani rupees or 16 Paisa per person per day. Even if we tax only coca cola and pepsi by one additional rupee it will be enough to give Pakistan complete air defense coverage.

It is not only for today that we need such a system. Because such a system coverage over all of Pakistan also goes a long way to counter Indian threats as well. All that for a small price.

Sir! we must need them within the next 6-7 months cuz the next attack on our country will be huge and unprovoked.....we must have this or all systems sytems available to us ready before the next incident . It will occur within the next year at most but could be early either..Believe me the US/NATO is going to fool the whole Army and our Civil govt again.if we were not ready we won't even get chance to cryover the spilt milk then......

No amount of air defense can deter the americans.
Lets do a history analysis.
In the past 20 years specifically and after the WW2 generally , USA has only attacked those countries which had become
politically and economically weak enough. Rest is all electronics and Americans are very good at defeating those.

Today, even if a GoP is changed, and a third absolutely honest party comes in, what do u think will happen ?

How naive.

US can come and go as they please in most of Pakistani airspace as and when needed, no matter what "formidable" defense system is deployed by Pakistan. The technological superiority is THAT overwhelming make no mistake about it.
