Black security guard who stopped bar fight shot dead by cop for doing his job

Well, if that is what you think, then fair enough.

That does not mean I have to agree or not agree with you, I am just compiling statistic here, how to interpret those statistic is up to individual.
UNderstandable. I like facts and truth too.

, so chances are, if you are involve in any type of shooting, you probably have a higher chance to have shot by a black man then a white police officer,
That has nothing to do with this case of probably white police officer shooting an officially armed working black man.
In MOST developed countries, police dont shoot people unless there is an extreme situation, thats why shootings in US by police(who are duty bound to "protect"everyone)seriously irritate and annoy people. why live in a developed country shupaa paaawwuur like US if you can die like a dog at hands of police for flimsy reasons? we are talking about priceless life.

On the other hands, cops are just ding their job, so they can go home and see their family, I am not going to say 100% of them are like that but a big portion of them are, and this "Cop is out to get black man" stunt, well, if you believe so, that's your choice.
Its not about my choice, its about perception by the public. Perception is reality. general majority in most US cities thought US police(generalization yes) were handling black lives irresponsibily. It wasnt all the police yes, but it was enough that it bothered even white people.
As for Polive just doing their job, trust me, i understand. Police man in america today is upper middle class. most of them make $70K-$150K a year. for people with little college education often, they are basically common man rich. why would they not "vanish"anything that threatens the great life they are living? They have nice sizeable house, can go on family vacations, get discounts on many things, do you think someone like that really wants to struggle with a black man on the ground in downtown xxxxx(big US city name) instead of ending it quickly? bro, there is a pattern- US police wil often 1) take law into their hands(hand out execution by shooting) or 2) end THEIR misery, eg shoot running black man cuz they dont want to run or feel ego bruised cuz the person got away. At the end of the day provide list of white people who died like dog in the hands of US police. if there was one, white people would've sacked their police here already. US police even get mad that black man doesnt respect them and talks to them like ghetto thugs...then they have to "put them in their place".

Police shooting happens around the world. Whether or not you feel those were just. Just last week, I was investigating a Police Shooting of a Somalian terrorist attack in Melbourne. While many people say that guy is just holding a knife and the Police should not have shot him, but however threat perceived is based on the instant action of the officer at that moment. All Police of any nation would have a different way to deal with that threat, but just that at that time, and at that place, that officer choose to shoot him.

You are expected the Police to use Lethal Force if you give them firearms. While all of us, who aren't there cannot judge for a moment that what that officer went thru when he/she feel the need to pull the trigger, we cannot stop that from happening once they are given firearms, but what we can do is to investigate the situation and see if that force is necessarily, and the report has not complied yet, so we cannot say for sure whether or not that happened for the most flimsiest reason, or simply within reason.

In the end, what matter is law and order is preserved, you do something wrong, you get prosecuted, and if you are really guilty, you will be convicted. That is what Civil Society is about.

First of all, Police don't earn 70K to 150K a year. You earn that much either you have put a lot of year in the force and you get a good rank, normal frontline police earn less than $50K a year.

While I am not going to argue with your own thought, why bothered? Police Shooting is first of all, rare, if it happened at all in large masses. Second of all, statistic show, there are more white people got shot and killed by Police than black people.

As I said, if you want to go ahead and think US Law Enforcement Agency have a conspiracy to "take the law into their own hand with black people" or "execute them because they don't want to bruise their little white ego" I mean that is totally fine, I mean if that is what you think, who am I to say you are wrong, but as the saying goes, if you think all other people is an ***, maybe you are the ***.

Anyway, there are nothing more I can say here, because you seems to have believe in something not many people in US believe in. So, good luck.

RIP

So many such cases get hushed yet they have the audacity to dictate to other countries
Maybe we need to hush up our media too!

:tsk:

there is no hushing up of the matter. it will be investigated.

your comments reflect attitude of someone who thinks problems go away because they are swept under the carpet

I have noticed 2 more incidents involving black people since your post. You are smart and very analytical(and so am i), but i am worried the pattern remains:

This one is particularly sad: black army soldier killed in a mall, cuz he had a gun.
https://www.cnn.com/2018/11/24/us/alabama-mall-hoover-shooting

Why dont white people in US get these "bad lucks"?
I mean look at the 2nd one of ICE trying to deport a black man!!! like wtf.

.
Guess when they say good guy with a guy they eventually mean white guy with a gun lol the story is out and clear the black guy was guard and shot as soon as police arrived .. remember that black kid playing with a toy gun and was shot at within 10 second ? America has some serious issues with it's black and Mexican population . But some American are delusional to see it while rest of the America can see it

.
Guess if the situation is truly bad as some would like to portray it, we would see the targeted blacks and other minorities seeking to leave the country for a better life elsewhere. Anybody see a line somewhere?

So, 2 incident in 14 days is a "Pattern"? Do you even know the number of crime committed during this 14 days?

As I said, what you are thinking is that there would not be such a things happens. But anyone with a sane mind would know this is NOT POSSIBLE. There are always going to be bad sheep and corruption in this world, no matter where you are.

The core essence of LAW ENFORCEMENT is not prevent crime or injustice from happening, the core essence of Law Enforcement is that people in a civilize world would have to account for their action knowing that THERE ARE GOING TO BE SOMEONE WHO ENFORCE THE LAW.

A perfect society is not about no one would commit any crime, hate crime by white or hate crime by black or whatever race have you, a perfect society is when you do commit crime, you will be prosecuted and there is always a check and balance system in place.

If the police did shoot the black man by mistake. You can count on the officer would be prosecuted to the full extent of the law, but you cannot expect no black man is going to be accidentally shot for whatever reason.

I actually agree with you for the most part. I am not asking law enforcement to not do their job.

If the police did shoot the black man by mistake. You can count on the officer would be prosecuted to the full extent of the law,
@"Full extend of the law...."-In the US, Its at least a high chance the police officer(s) get found innocent/not guilty in a court of law Just saying.
