I would question the entire Bollywood industry and it's effect on Pakistan. Pakistan Army is going to be defeated. Pakistan will be defeated. When that defeat inevitably happens it will not be on the battlefield.

The defeat will be triumph of Bollywood over Pakistan. He who has the hearts and minds wins. In time Pakistani's will become "Indian's" as the cultural influence of Bollywood will swamp Pakistan. This was written in our destiny the day Pakistan chose Urdu which is the obverse side of Hindi. That is why you will not find a Pakistani household that does not watch Indian movies etc.

As regards the "Maulvi Propaganda" I would like to point out that whilst every day we have people claming to represent one of the dozen brands of Islam killing members of other brands. The Hindu's do not go around blowing each other's mandir's or commit genocide on another sect of Hindus.

In fact one possible future of South Asia can be gleaned in Bollywood. It has become a purveyor of a syncretic product with strains of Muslim/Hindu/Sikh and Arabic/Persian/Urdu/Hindi mushed to produce a synthetic product that is palatable to all.

@Atanz even if you hadn't chosen Urdu,Bollywood and Hindi would still have ruled pak given the closeness of Punjabi and Hindi..it wouldn't have been much difficult for an average Pakistani to understand Hindi.

Even the punjabis on our side who never went to school could understand Hindi perfectly even if they can't speak it.

Bollywood is in mumbai for god sake. They will not ignore their core constituency which is for Indian public consumption. It is their bread and butter.
