Islamabad isnt a disputed terrority, and one cant create a state inside a state so its terrorism, on the other hand if one talks about kashmir, its a disputed terrority accepted by the UN, also kashmiries themselves rose to the occasion. There is a difference that is being neglected in differentiating freedom fighters and terrorists due to changing geo strategic situation.

Dear IC,

No one talked about Kashmir so why bring it in ? The point is that is terrorism a valid way to get what you want. You may not think Islamabad is not a disputed area but OBL may think that its the seat of his new empire.

Kashmir is a disputed site only for Pakistan, but for India and the rest of the world, it is an in-seperable part of India.

Pakistan: Blast in cinema hall, several feared killed

Several people were feared killed on Sunday when a bomb blast ripped through a cinema hall in a northwestern Pakistani city.

Around 90 people were inside Regal cinema hall, located within the cantonment of Bannu city in the North West Frontier Province, when the blast occurred, state-run PTV reported.

Several people were feared killed and injured in the blast, it said, adding the explosion also damaged the building.

This has been a regular feature in NWFP, so now do you cinsider these people terrorist or freedomfighters.
According to your theory, these are freedom-fighters fighting for freedom, and so this NWFP must be a disputed territory!!!

Dalai Lama leads prayer at Delhi's Jama Masjid


Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama [Images] on Sunday led a special prayer for world peace at the historic Jama Masjid in Delhi and said it is regrettable that Muslims are being targeted in the name of terrorism.

The Dalai Lama, who was in Delhi to participate in an international Anti-Terrorism conference, was accompanied by several foreign dignitaries and people of different faiths.

At the special prayer, the Dalai Lama said Islam has always been identified with peace and Muslims "are peace loving people."

"Muslims are one of the most peace loving people in the world," he said, adding, "It is regrettable that Muslims are targeted in the name of terrorism."

The Dalai Lama also said a person who engages in terror activities cannot be a true Muslim.

"Muslims cannot be terrorists. If a person is a terrorist, he cannot be a Muslim," the Tibetan spiritual leader said.

Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi and senior officials at the Jama Masjid were present at the prayer meet.

I know no one is talking about kashmir, the reason i brought it in was not to start a never ending debate here or for that matter to derail this thread. The point i was trying to pin point was that there is a fine line between terrorism and that of freedom fighter, these two are mixed together in a manner as kashmir is related to lal masjid.
As for your second thing about me not thinking islamabad as a disputed terrority, and OBL considering it as his next seat of his new empire, to be honest i wasnt expecting this from you, no wonder i would still like to hear it from you as to what exactly you meant. I hope you do understand the meaning of what you are saying, taking islamabad as OBL's next throne.

I think you misunderstood the OBL - Islambad context. As far as I am concerned Pakistan is paying a heavy price on the WOT and lot of brave Pakistanis are on the fore front. My statement is in context to the two statements issued by OBL and his No2 in which they encouraged Pakistanis to kill Gen M and take over the reins of Pakistan.

Once again the point I am making is that OBL who is Saudi can be deluded enough to tell Pakistani's to kill fellow Pakistanis as he feels he has the right to do so by God.
