Almost all of them, it's not easy to get into Chinese army. China hasn't fought any wars for decades, what do you expect them to do ?

Corrupt official have a bad record of putting their relatives in the army to score some career promotion brownie points, China is no exception in this regard. Put their family to the frontline and risk their lives fighting a real war is a different story.

No surprise, we all know that, Indians and leaders from other countries do the same. Even North Korea did this. You don't expect Chinese leaders to be gods, do you? Besides, studying abroad is a way to understand this world better and it's not something that only priviledged people can do, even not well off people in China can afford sending their children studying abroad.
