What I was told when getting my CNIC made was that slowly the CNIC's would be made for the purpose, once the necessary database infrastructure has been setup around different points of entry in the country...

In forth quarter of 2014, FIA did hire people for working on IBMS but what I was told is Project has been walled because of lack of funds -----

Can we have a single e-Card for CNIC, Passport, birth certificate and other certificates, debit and credit cards, different licences etc
I know It is technically possible but not sure when it actually happen if ever. :-(
