Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman said there could be no relationship between Saudi Arabia and Israel before resolving the issue of peace with the Palestinians.
The Crown Prince, in an interview with Time magazine, said that "the people of Palestine know their reefs, so whatever Palestinians see fit will be supported by the kingdom, regardless of what the Americans say as allies of Saudi Arabia".
Bin Salman answered a question about the extent to which Saudi interests were in line with Israel's interests, and whether there would be a role for Israel in your plan for Saudi development, by saying: "Well, we have a common enemy, we have many possible aspects of economic cooperation, but that will not be before the peace issue is resolved," he said. Because both Palestinians and Israelis have the right to live and co-exist. Until that happens, we will watch and try to support a solution to peace. When that happens, of course the next day we will have a good and normal relationship with Israel, and it will be the best for all. "
The Saudi Crown Prince commented on Trump's decision to move the US embassy to occupied Jerusalem by saying: "We are trying to do what we can, I am trying to focus on the opportunities before us, on the next step, how things are put and taken better, not on arguing about any mistake."
