Why Bengalis vote for third class parties like TMC or CPIM???

We Bengalis are politically most opportunist people. Jab CPI M sarkar mein tha sab commie ban jate hain, aab jab Mamta ayii ban gaye sab TMC. Who cares for national interest?

But for this apathy, Congress should bear a huge responsibility. After Bidhan Ray, these people became opportunist and didn't do enough to spread awareness against CPI M in rural bengal making them virtually invincible in all sense.

Many a times i have read on this forum that the people in Bengal favor Modi but will vote for either TMC or Left........WTF??

People won't vote for CPI M, I guess. The lack of confidence is visible among the leaders and lower level cadres have already joined TMC. So they have to do something superhuman to make a mark in this election. Main fight will be between Mamta and Modi factor. A substantial section of the unemployed, less educated youths are really hoping for new industries to come creating a certain job opportunity for them. Let's see how all it goes.
