Trust me, those living in karachi and specifically those living on M-9 highway, North Nazimabad, close to Pahari, Ship Owner College or northern bypass, encounter every day Afghani men on bikes with loaded pistols commiting street crimes and if you refuse, they either wound you or kill but they won’t leave you unharmed.

Such a horrible situation it has become.

Refugees are meant to be inside special areas, enclosed by fences as if they are inside a country but not inside it.

However, when we look things from broader perspective, these afghanis are in such a situation because we chose for them this earlier during soviet afg war.

Generations have been destroyed. There are quarter population of afghanis out of all refugee population just in karachi, even more than quarter.

Karachi as a business hub requires more & more skilled and financially strong people to invest in businesses and work in them but unfortunately the city is used wayy under potential.

Whats more bad ? These refugees as well as local population could have been put to right use if sindh government had made many advanced schools and colleges but it seems sindh government was busy distributing vigos and revos to its own rural nepotism borne people who then roam around streets, threatning others and their kids end up like the boy on news who shot an innocent boy.

I understand it but he should talk about criminals Afghans and not about Afghans. ( I don’t have any links with them) , but as a Pakistani Muslim living in France, I have sense about few doing wrong and all from their country are labelled as wrongdoers.

And solution he proposed which is deportation of all illegals ( criminals or not) is not the solution for Pakistan. Because they will come again and again and probably with more hate.
What I propose instead is improving our judicial system, improving our law enforcement agencies, then put in jail for long term any criminals... you will see an improvement in situation in Pakistan. And other point is could we deport someone in a war zone like Afghanistan? Maybe now situation is more peaceful in Afghanistan (I don’t know what is the situation there).

As you stated we have also responsibilities in the situation : we let them going outside of refugees camps, and we didn’t cared about law and order in our country. We should fix these points first.
You know here in France, when I was young we had french criminals, but later Muslims overtook and became criminals. (But there are still french criminals too) but french people see only criminals with Islam background.
It’s unfair, it’s not justice.
And I often discuss with french non Muslims and tell them that the problem is not Islam or not Islam, it’s a problem of law and order. Make more severe laws and you will see a peaceful country (except the current strikes against retirement and pension laws reform project).
