ISLAMABAD: Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, patron-in-chief of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), examined Shanghai’s Metro system from its monitoring room on Saturday during his visit to the city.

Bilawal also visited the Shanghai train station and was briefed about developments in the Shanghai Metro project. Shanghai became the third city in mainland China to have a rapid transit system after the first line opened in 1993. Since then, the Shanghai Metro has become one of the fastest-growing transit systems in the world with several lines still under construction.

The PPP leader also visited one of the city’s largest power plants, Pucheng Power Shanghai. According to sources, Bilawal expressed an intention to use the innovation and technological advancements used in China to enhance development projects in Karachi.

Finally PPP wants to work like PML-N. PTI on the other hand is a huge disappointment.

I can never forgive Pakistan Muslim League (N) the way they harassed the previous Government lead by the Pakistan Peoples Party and prevented them at every corner from either initiating or completing any projects - that too during the years of Global Recession.

Prime Minister Yousef Raza Gilani (my all time favourite Prime Minister) was convicted, humiliated by PML(N) and then forced to resign whilst in office. Disgusting.

These are just photo ops and utter embarrassment for the country. Hope this doesn't become a trend.

Till few years back, only corrupt African leaders (no offense to African people) used to do it. They'd take huge entourages and take pictures and make promises to their people. Now South Asian leaders are doing this same shit. Taking train rides and what not.

Seriously guys, you don't need to sit in the ******* thing to build one. Just care about arranging funds and doing requirement analysis etc.
