From the way the building is constructed--it seems like modern construction techniques are coming to Pakistan ;)

Hopefully, Pakistanis learn new construction techniques to build the country faster and efficiently.

Believe me, in U.S...they construct a MASSIVE modern building of steel, glass, and concrete in 1/7 of the time it'd take to do the same in Pakistan.

I hope not, modern techniques ruins the environment and are not compatible with our climate and requires alot of power resource, for which we lack. I wished they would have constructed it in the traditional way just like the Railway head quarters in lahore and install "khas ki chicks" on the windows for cool air. This would save them on energy and construction costs.

Hi,

At first I was wondering---'air terminal'----then I realized it is their own Bus terminal.

I think the word "traditional" is over rated in Pakistan.

It's safe to say societies like Japanese who largely ditched "tradition" did rather well but those which refused still live in stone age.

@ghazi52 ^Not sure that is proper traditional. The rail carriage is product of the kaffir farangi British. You want 100% proper tradition try this
