Yes I did find the "MENTION" of Cow Vigilantism but that had nothing to do with this case. To be honest this is the most desperate attempt I came across to push the Cow Vigilantism propaganda.

And how can you be sure that this was not Cow vigilantism? Cow Vigilantism need not be planned, it can be sudden/abrupt. The driver may have been attacked because he tried hurting the Cow and since Cow has gained so much prominence in the recent past, it could very well be another case of Cow Vigilantism.
